If your British don’t bother
I stayed at side star elegance in Antalya July for 2 weeks with my wife, from the fist encounter of staff they automatically assumed that we was German, once they found out that we wasn’t, there attitude changed, if your British this hotel is not for you, and that was from font of staff, cleaners, bar staff, gardeners ect, most of the staff don’t like the British,

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Große Enttäuschung, nie wieder! Wo soll ich anfangen, wo soll ich aufhören? Wir reisen seit mittlerweile über 10 Jahren regelmäßig in die Türkei und haben viele Hotels kennengelernt. Aber das Side Star Hotel war mit Abstand die schlechteste Erfahrung, die wir je gemacht haben. Schon bei der Ankunft fing alles schlecht an: Obwohl wir pünktlich angekommen sind, mussten wir fast zwei Stunden auf unser Zimmer warten, weil es angeblich noch nicht fertig war. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war dabei alles andere als freundlich und vermittelte eher das Gefühl, dass man als Gast stört. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und ist völlig überfüllt. Im Pool ist es so eng, dass man kaum zwei Meter schwimmen kann. Beim Essen muss man sich auf lange Warteschlangen einstellen, was den Urlaub zusätzlich unnötig stressig macht. Zum Strand muss man länger bergab gehen oder ein Shuttel nehmen. Die Kellner waren massivst genervt und unfreundlich. Der Zimmerservice kam nur, wenn er gerade Lust hatte. Mal wurde gereinigt, mal nicht – ein verlässlicher Service sieht anders aus. Am Ende waren wir so enttäuscht, dass wir unseren Urlaub zwei Tage früher abgebrochen haben, weil an Erholung überhaupt nicht zu denken war. Für den aufgerufenen Preis ist dieses Hotel aus unserer Sicht massiv überbewertet. Das Traurige daran: Wir waren mit unserer Meinung nicht allein. Mit vielen anderen Gästen vor Ort haben wir gesprochen, die dieselben Probleme geschildert haben und ebenfalls unzufrieden waren. Unser Fazit: Wer Wert auf guten Service, Erholung und ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legt, sollte sich lieber nach einem anderen Hotel umsehen. Für uns war das definitiv das erste und letzte Mal.

Stayed at sidestar resort in 2023 of August and had an alright time. The actual staff was very lovely but the food was not good. It was very average and I did end up getting ill because of the food which has not happened to me in the past. One thing I was hugely disappointed with was the fact that I had to go the doctor which is in the hotel they then sent me to a private hospital which was nice but they definitely did this on purpose as a way to make money out of me being ill. I was charged for every little thing luckily I have travel insurance so I was able to claim it back once I came back the UK but overall the hotel was average. Staff was nice. The people that were staying there were not and for me that would be a huge factor in not going to this place as it catered more towards white Europeans than those of colour.

Amazing hotel ignore the bad reviews
We stopped at the side star resort in Turkey in April, the hotel is absolutely amazing, the food was georgous, they can’t do enough for you. The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome, the entertainment was brilliant. The rooms were georgous and the mini bar was so good. Thanks for our little freebies in the room 🤩Would love to go next year but the prices have shot up 😢 this was our first visit to Turkey and will definately be back ❤️ The only down side was the other people reserving sun beds, when there is a notice that says you can’t, also the big pool could do with heating slightly esp in the colder months 🙏🙏

A Disappointing Experience at Side Star Resort: Poor Customer Service and Communication
We had booked the Side Star Resort neatly through Booking.com, and subsequently received a confirmation from the hotel that the reservation had been received. However, after some time, we were informed that there had been an issue with the reservation and our booking was canceled. We decided to contact the hotel's customer service. We sent an email which went unanswered for days, and also sent a message via WhatsApp without receiving a response. We even attempted to reach out through the so-called Live Chat on the website, but eventually had to call Turkey from abroad to reach them. To make matters worse, I was contradicted on the phone, and the person on the line was not particularly customer-friendly. She kept repeatedly saying "no, no, no" and wouldn't even let me finish. The hotel was unwilling to work with us to find a solution and directed us back to Booking, while Booking referred us back to the hotel. Overall, a very disappointing customer service experience. I will also share my experience in the necessary reviews on other websites. Not recommended!
