They have the worst management and front line customer contact of any non amusement park I have ever dealt with.

They have the worst money grubbing policies. There are 14 of us. All have season tickets. 7 adults & 7 kids. The kids are all under 8 years old and have season passes as well. I wanted to rent a family deluxe cabana for $300+. But because there were 4 too many for all of their 10 person cabana they wanted me to pay another $300+ for a separate cabana. Now you know as well as I do with kids they wouldn’t even be in the cabana and they are young and small enough it wouldn’t even matter. When I asked to speak to a manager of course no one was available and she said even if they were they would tell me the same thing. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager anyway. She put me on hold and never came back after 29 minutes. No wonder their business is in the toilet. Between their rides breaking down, outrageous prices, horrendous customer service, inept employees and management as well as their unreasonable rules for money grabbing policies you would think they would take a hint. Their management is the worst from top to bottom as demonstrated by the lack of real customer service on the front lines. Their management has unskilled labor dealing with the public enforcing these idiotic policies while they hide under a desk in the back room. What an embarrassment.

Disappointing

On June 20, 2026, I purchased tickets for Six Flags Great Adventure in the amount of USD 105.95. The payment was successfully processed and charged to my account. However, when I arrived at the park, Six Flags staff was unable to locate my order in their system and therefore I did not receive the tickets that I had purchased. In order to enter the park and avoid losing my planned visit, I was informed by Six Flags staff that I would need to purchase new tickets. As a result, I was forced to make a second ticket purchase despite already having paid for the original transaction. Furthermore, the replacement tickets that I was required to purchase on the day of my visit were sold at a higher price than my original purchase. I paid USD 114.49 for the replacement tickets, which was more expensive than the original transaction amount of USD 105.95. As a result of Six Flags' inability to locate my original purchase, I incurred additional and unnecessary expenses in order to gain entry to the park. I immediately contacted Six Flags Guest Relations and provided all requested documentation, including proof of payment, bank statements, transaction information, and supporting evidence showing that the original payment had been successfully processed. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company, I have not received any substantive response regarding the emails I sent, nor have I received any update regarding the status of my refund request.

6 flags customer service is a joke

If I could give a 0 star, I would. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a customer service representative, and especially not one who was a manager. I bought 2 all parks season passes and then bought 2 all parks all season dining passes. I put both dining passes under my pass and had both names attached, because the second pass was for a minor and I was paying. The website allowed me to do it. Apparently that isn't supposed to be allowed. Cedar point wouldn't honor the 2nd pass because it was attached to my name. They told me to contact six flags over texas (my home park) to have them fix it. I played ping pong with them going from one person to the next because no one wanted to help me. I finally had the correct phone number and then Noone would pick up or return the call from my message. Finally I got someone on the phone and she refused to do anything for me. Told me that I had to go to guest services at my home park to get it fixed. Well obviously that wasn't an option, because I was in ohio. I paid $155 for it to not even be valid. I made a comment to the manager that I had been transferred to several people and nobody wanted to take responsibility to fix the problem. She said it's not our responsibility to fix, it should have been common sense not to do that. Well it wasn't common sense because why would I put a dining pass on the child's pass when I am the one paying for it. I told her I didn't ask about common sense and hung up on her. Again I have never been treated so poorly. I also don't care if it should have been common sense or not. Under no circumstances should you talk down to a customer like that. EVER! I was appaled. As for cedar point, it was an excellent experience with their customer service. Since 6 flags wouldn't fix it, they gave us dining vouchers for the days we were visiting. They were very nice. The people letting you in the gate... one was very rude, the others were kind. If I knew how to complain to someone about the unbelievably rude manager, I would.

Season pass/chaperone policy

Six flags New England has started a new policy stating no one under the age of 17 is allowed to enter the park without an adult 21yrs. The policy is new and is not dated. It also states they can pick and choose who can get in, which seems discriminatory. When the passes were purchased, the policy was 16yrs had to have an adult to enter, but was changed overnight(5/30/2026). policies should be emailed to the holders not just put up when they arrive at the park. m My daughter arrived before 3pm with her cousin which is a six-flag employee (both 17yrs old) both are black and were denied entrance to the park. They were really confused why an employee can work for you but not get in as a customer at 17yrs.
