Had zero effect on my property, takes a while to set up and half the instructions are in Chinese. The money back policy is some what miss leading with the paying back in stages. I’d avoid and use WiFi calls

A difficult problem but finally a very good result I thought it may be useful to explain my experience from the beginning. Before buying from Signal Hero I had already purchased a booster from Nikrans. For me this was a complete nightmare. The equipment did not solve the problem and I could not get the technical help I needed. In the end I returned it. So when the Signal Hero equipment did not work initially I thought I had made the same mistake again. The problem at our house is quite unusual. We have virtually no usable mobile signal inside the property. If our normal internet connection fails we have to stand on a wall outside the house, sometimes in the rain, or drive about a mile down the road to make calls or use the internet. I should also say I am 88 years old. If I was back in my 60s all the testing, changing aerials and climbing ladders would probably have been easy enough. At 88 it is rather more difficult. The first Signal Hero installation did not work properly. We could sometimes make a call but there was no useful internet connection. There then followed a considerable amount of testing. George, Lisa and the Signal Hero team continued to investigate the problem. I sent phone signal readings, photographs and information from the equipment. An engineer also came to the property and completed a signal survey. There were times when I thought we were getting nowhere and I did consider returning the equipment. However George kept working on it. The unusual problem was that my iPhone was showing a signal which appeared to be available, but in reality that signal was extremely weak around the house. Signal Hero then looked at the other signals found during the survey and supplied another amplifier and a different aerial. The new amplifier alone did not solve the problem. When my local TV aerial engineer replaced the original aerial with the new one we immediately started to see a 900 MHz signal. We then put the new aerial on a 3 metre pole above the chimney. That made the difference. Both the 900 and 1800 MHz indicators came on and we suddenly had a 4 bar 4G signal inside the house. We could make calls and use data. A speed test gave approximately 17 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. We now have 4 bars through most of the house and about 3 bars upstairs. Interestingly, once the new aerial was installed correctly, both amplifiers supplied by Signal Hero worked. So in the end the main problem appears to have been the aerial and its height. I do have some criticism of the installation company used during the process. I was not happy with the diagnosis, the cost or the quality of the installation. The fittings were left loose and I also had concerns about the cable entry into the wall. However my experience with Signal Hero themselves was very different from my previous experience with Nikrans. When the first solution did not work George and Lisa did not simply leave me with the problem. They continued trying to understand why we had almost no signal and what could be done about it. It took much longer than I expected and it certainly was not straightforward. But we got there. George, thanks very much for your persistence. Without it I don't think we would have sorted the problem out. At 88 I am pleased I can now use my phone inside the house rather than standing on the wall outside in the rain. Regards Richard

Called Signal Hero to see if anything could be done about the total dead zone in our back office. Their installer turned up right on time, explained where the antenna needed to go, and had the whole system fitted in a couple of hours. Massive improvement straight away went from dropped calls to full 5G. Really impressed with the work, definitely recommend these guys.

I opted for the Signal Hero Ultra Drive, and while it definitely helps, the marketing on the site is a little misleading. Inside the car, the unit itself shows full bars, but on my phone screen, it’s usually sitting around 1 to 2 bars, occasionally touching 3 depending on where I’m driving. To give credit where it’s due, my calls don't drop anymore along those notorious dead spots on the motorway, so it really works for keeping you connected. When I reached out to customer support to query the phone bars, the team was brilliant and explained that a car booster stabilizes the signal to prevent drops rather than artificially cranking up the bars on your phone screen. That made complete sense once it was explained, but it was a bit disappointing after reading the sales page. Overall, I’m happy to keep it because my motorway calls stay clear now, but Signal Hero could definitely do a better job of explaining how the tech actually works upfront so customers know what to expect.

I was honestly at my wit's end after EE shut down our nearest mobile mast last year. Living in a total dead zone was so frustrating—I spent half my day running out to the garden just to check messages, and I missed several important phone calls from my family because my phone simply wouldn't ring inside the house. We finally decided to buy the Signal Hero Ultra kit, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. My partner had to hop on a ladder to get the aerial mounted properly on the roof, so it takes a little setup time, but as soon as we plugged it in, the house was instantly filled with service. I even have a full 5 bars in the downstairs pantry now! The customer support team was so sweet and patient, too. They talked us through how to space out the indoor booster and sent over a free set of cable clips to keep the wiring looking neat along the skirting boards. So relieved to finally have reliable signal again!
