Kundenservice gleich NULL. Wollte Ersatzteile bestellen. Keine Reaktion auf Mails, die ich sogar an zwei verschiedene Mailadressen gesendet habe.

I bout a new set of glasses

I bout a new set of glasses, and within 6 months one of the nose pieces fell out and gotten lost. I had a warranty on the glasses but was not honored! No parts are available. I can buy a new set of frames, but why would you if the parts are not available!? I sub jest you save the time and money on a frame that will not have parts falling off, and you can use them. you cannot believe the runaround I had went thru. sorry I can't attach a photo or two. The answer to the reply: Yes I could go back to the beginning and start over! But why? It's like a phone tree. and I have tried to get the parts, but how? You get one point by giving me the boiler plate answer though.

The best frameless in the world, hands down!

I have had Silhouette glasses since the turn of the century. They are the epitome of frameless glasses allowing the user to experience almost complete vision without the blockage of peripheral vision that normal frames cause. They are long-lasting (my primary pair are from 2000 and are still perfect), and new lenses have been put into the existing frames twice without issue. My reading glasses have had to have new arms, and even though these could not be fully fixed in the UK, a chance visit to the House of Silhouette in Vienna not only fixed the problem perfectly, they made a couple of minor changes to make them fit perfectly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Silhouette glasses to anyone, and I cannot fathom the negativity on this site.

*Silhouette=Bad quality + No customer service + only 2 years warranty + Huge price* I am 53 year old and this is the first review I ever write. Both me and my husband bought Silhouette prescription glasses and sunglasses frames in Calgary, Canada from our optician for 15 years as she was trying to convince us to choose another brand. She was so right - they both broke(hinges and middle of arm) right after the warranty expired, 2 years, and the sunglasses were TITANIUM. Customer service is non-existent but ADVERTISING FOR THE BRAND IS EVERYWHERE. Initially I thought it was just bad luck for us but then asking family, friends, co-workers I found out that was not the case. I have learned my lesson to do my own research and not trust advertising. Would like to warn as many people as possible to avoid the Silhouette rip off. They are just a bad player! I went to many retailers and told them my story and I was so happy to see that here in North America they moved the Silhouette display to a small corner and reduced it quite a bit. Retailers in Europe listened to me but didn't do anything about it or maybe not right away, I will go check that out next year and I shall keep doing that, my bit to help put Silhouette in the low corner where these money-grab players deserve to be.
