I had a full hysterectomy several years…
I had a full hysterectomy several years ago. So I can't speak on how well Lutea works on menstrual. But as for the mental brain fog and anxiety issues it has helped greatly. I feel calmer and able to focus easier. My husband says it even cuts down on my snoring.

I bought the Lutea/Nettle after trying…
I bought the Lutea/Nettle after trying transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) previously. The effects of my first round of TMS treatments were miraculous for my depression, anxiety, cognitive function, attention span, PMDD, etc. Unfortunately, the effects were transient and I went back for subsequent rounds of TMS, but they did not have the same results. I saw information on the Lutea/Nettle device and was intrigued. I saw another opportunity to get my brain function and mood to be better and purchased it. I have been using this device for approximately a month and have noticed the effects starting. I did have an issue with the device not working, so I reached out to the Samphire team to help troubleshoot it. When the issue couldn't be resolved, they sent me a replacement device so I could continue my treatments. My experience with the Lutea/Nettle and the Samphire team has been very positive. I look forward to seeing how my brain function progresses!

The device stopped working after three…
The device stopped working after three or four uses. The company required me to send them a video showing that I tried various troubleshooting methods. I have many health tech gadgets, and typically the company is quick to respond and take care of any issue. With this one, for a relatively expensive piece of health tech, they are surprisingly slow to respond and warranty out a completely new device that does not work. Very disappointing.

My Nettle has been an absolute gamechanger for me. I can get through the day without being in hideous agony, and it has really helped my mood. Highly recommended.

I've got my luteal phase back
I followed Samphire Neuroscience on social media since December 2023. I'd noticed in 2022, after coming off medication for my mental health, that my anxiety peaked significantly in the week leading up to my period. I would barely sleep, I was constantly on edge and my mind was constantly on overdrive. I was also really emotional, but as soon as my period started it was like a switch flipped and I was back to myself. I spoke to my doctor about this who suggested going back on antidepressants, however for 3 weeks out of 4 of the month, I was doing better than ever, so I didn't want to pursue this unless as a last resort. I kept thinking about trying the Nettle device, however the price put me off. In March 2026, I finally bit the bullet and purchased the Nettle headband. I half hoped it wouldn't work, given the cost, but I felt comfortable trying it given that I could return within 3 months if it didn't work for me. I've used the headband for 3 menstrual cycles now, and I genuinely feel like a different person. I no longer dread the luteal phase. My mind feels so much quieter and more still since using this device. My emotions feel much more regulated, and my cramps have also reduced, which isn't something I actually anticipated. I use it for the week or so in the run up to my period, for 20 minutes a day, and I still can't believe something so simple has changed my life so much. Any anxious thoughts i do have no longer hold any weight. I had to contact customer services due to having an issue with the app and they were really helpful and kept me informed throughout. I've had to re-order the sponges once and they arrived quickly too. The headband just feels tingly whilst its in use. You get used to it quite quickly. I used the app for over a year before investing in Nettle and I absolutely love how useful it is, and the 6 month cycle report you can generate is so interesting. I love reviewing my own data. I'm annoyed it took me so long to give this a try. I've seen amazing results in a short amount of time so I'm looking forward to seeing further progress. I know it's not cheap but its a worthwhile investment for your own peace.
