I have serious concerns about the reliability of reviews published on REVIEWS.io. In my experience, the platform appears to make it far too easy for people to post reviews that may be irrelevant, misleading, or not based on a genuine customer experience. What concerns me most is the apparent lack of effective verification before some reviews are allowed to appear. It seems possible for individuals to submit reviews without adequately demonstrating that they actually used or purchased from the business they are reviewing. I have also seen situations that made me concerned about the possibility of the same person posting multiple reviews or irrelevant to a particular business reviews. For a platform whose purpose is to help consumers judge the reputation of businesses, I would expect much stronger safeguards against fake, duplicate, malicious, or irrelevant reviews. When questionable reviews can potentially affect a company's reputation, simply allowing them to remain visible without sufficient verification can cause real damage. In my view, review platforms should require meaningful proof of a genuine customer experience, properly investigate disputed reviews, and take stronger action against duplicate or abusive submissions.

Expect to have your plan cancelled and be forced to pay more for a different plan
Having been with Reviews.io for over 8 years, out the blue they emailed me to me to say they were discontinuing my plan and that to continue I'd have to transfer to a new plan which costs twice as much. The new plan, despite costing much more, has removed some of the features I was using and added in new features that I don't need. So much for over 8 years of loyalty!

Fake reviews
I had a very frustrating experience with Reviews.io. The platform appears to promote itself as a trusted review service, but in reality, it feels highly misleading and unreliable. I personally tried to submit a legitimate review, but instead of getting proper support, I was sent in circles by an automated bot that never resolved my issue. There was no clear way to complete the process or get real human assistance. It raises serious concerns about how reviews are handled and whether the system is designed more to benefit businesses seeking positive ratings rather than providing an honest and transparent platform for customers. Based on my experience, I cannot trust this service and would not recommend it to others looking for a fair and genuine review platform.

Declining
Seems to be declining. In the past I valued ReviewsIO because they published my genuine reviews that were censored here. However, of late, I never receive the email verification. So after taking the trouble to write a review, it never appears. I dont know if this is a technical glitch or something more sinister, but it needs to be addressed urgently or people will simply stop using the platform.
