Mechanical failure after 3 months and unclear warranty terms
I purchased a Procolored K13 Lite for $4,700 in Dec 25 through a payment plan which i am still paying off. After about three months, the pump began diverting cyan ink into the waste line, causing leaks and forcing me to turn the printer off. Troubleshooting is labour‑intensive and difficult due to the language barrier and the need to record and upload videos for support. The protection plan was not clearly disclosed. It is provided by a third‑party company, covers accidental damage in year one and mechanical failure in year two, and is not an extended warranty. Procolored’s own warranty is one month, and anything involving ink is excluded even when the failure is mechanical. I was also told I needed to purchase additional consumables to receive warranty parts, which I found unacceptable.Support and PR have not responded to my escalation. It is still ongoing. Buyer beware - also check Reddit and YouTube reviews - avoid beta backers who receive free units. Search just Procolored on this site. The company could improve by accepting liability, refunding or replacing parts, and being transparent about selling an expensive protection plan that does not cover mechanical faults until the second year, while their own warranty expires after one month. Depending on the outcome, I will publish all communication with personal details redacted so this review can be validated. This reflects my personal experience.

I sent in a after sales chat to have my waste pad reset and the engineer was able to help me with that along with getting my white ink unclogged. He was very patient and provided very exceptional customer service. I am so happy to have gotten all of my issues resolved.

I would like to sincerely thank B-Engineer-Ethan for his outstanding help. He was incredibly patient, thorough, and very clear in his explanations, which made everything easy to understand. He helped me reset the system so I could change the ink in my printer. For some reason, my printer still wasn’t working properly, so he went above and beyond by helping me print something from his end to get my printer to recognize and print the colors correctly . I had been waiting quite a while to connect with an engineer, but in the end, it was absolutely worth it because I was fortunate to receive his assistance. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely pleasant throughout the entire process.
