Unfair tax billing error and refusal to issue account credit
As a 10-year Alberta resident, Google incorrectly charged me British Columbia Provincial Sales Tax (BC PST) on YouTube Premium due to disconnected home vs. payment profile addresses across their system. Because monthly invoice receipts were never emailed, I couldn't catch the error immediately. When brought to YouTube Support, they acknowledged the address setup bug on their end but refused to issue a $5.60 account credit. To make matters worse, the BC government does not accept tax refund claims under $10, leaving me completely boxed out of a refund for a tax charged in error by Google's own system. Extremely poor customer support and billing practices.

POS, never help. They are only good when closing tickets without doing anything; they probably pat themselves on the back, telling themselves they did a good job.

I have always kicked against using my…
I have always kicked against using my phone for any form of Banking or purchases. My kids told me I'm being silly. So today I tried Google Pay, typical you wait 2 minutes while their Soppy circles go round only to say something went WRONG! Why do they allow a Fickle company like Google to deal with public money? I removed my card from these people and will not try again. I am also asking the FCA why they allow this company to have this facility.
