We had a PO for 40 PCs to be shipped in 3 different batches, first 20, then 10 and again 10. First 20 were great. By the next 10 they wanted to put the price up (even though we had signed a PO, locking the price in and guaranteeing availability). We said we have a signed PO for a set price, so they can't change the price now. They said they just can't hold their price as the price of RAM went up so much. We agreed to using a different brand of DDR5 RAM and we negotiated a little and still took them for a little over 1.5 times the original PO price. (BTW, if everything is preordered thanks to a blanket PO, what does it matter what the price does?) We both agreed to the new price but they said they can't even hold this new price for the last 10, they will need to reevaluate the price for those. Then for the last 10 they went on and shipped them before even talking to us about it, then wanted to send us a bill for a yet higher price. They already knew we were not happy about the previous 10. This was the last straw. We said we aren't taking these PC's, you will send us a return label and hipping will be at your cost. They said there will be a cancellation fee. We said no, there will not be. If their PO doesn't guarantee price I don't see how it can guarantee a quantity either. Great product, and I wish we could have continued to work with OnLogic, but we cannot have someone that tries to pull this kind of stuff off. Wasted a lot of time checking the product out and tailoring the OS, now this. Be advised.
