Fantastic holiday
We had a fantastic experience with Olanka Travels for our trip to Sri Lanka! Everything was organized down to the smallest detail, with impeccable professionalism from the very first contact. A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks goes to our driver, Douglas. More than just a driver, Douglas was a true guide and an extraordinary travel companion. Safe and impeccable driving: He drove with extreme caution even in the heaviest traffic, always making us feel 100% safe. Punctuality and cleanliness: The car was always spotless, fresh, and smelled great every morning. Douglas always arrived right on time with his wonderful smile. He showed us local highlights, typical fruits, and places off the beaten path that we would never have discovered on our own. He knows the country like the back of his hand and was always ready to satisfy our every curiosity or need. Thanks to him, it was an even more wonderful experience.

Maiden Family trip to SL - Aug 2026
Extremely professional team who managed every bit of our trip details meticulously. Right from planning the trip, booking accommodation, attractions, everything was perfect . The car was extremely clean and our guide Sammera was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Kanishka was alsways very responsive and helped us plan the holidays to our needs and satisfaction. The country is beautiful and people very kind. If you are planning your maiden or next trip to SL I certainly recommend Olanka travels.

We were a group of 5 women friends…
We were a group of 5 women friends celebrating significant birthdays eotjn Sri Lanka and found Olanka great to deal with, we had a number of calls pre trip to tailor our itinery. Our driver Asela was very helpful and polite and a great driver, and we felt looked after very well. The hotels they selected were fabulous. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country we were so lucky to be able to visit.

Unforgettable Sti Lankan holiday
We have had an incredible 11 day holiday in Sri Lanka. We visited Colombo, Galle, Haputale, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Sigiriya. From ancient temples and elephant encounters to scenic train rides, tea plantations, and historic forts, every day offered something unique and memorable. The star of the journey was Asela our wonderful driver who didn’t just take us from one beautiful hotel to another. He organised everything seamlessly and was unruffled when we made last minute changes. He was punctual and kind and nothing seamed too big a request. We never once had to worry about logistics, directions or timing because Asela had everything under control. Sri Lanka exceeded all expectations, it is a stunningly beautiful country, the people are so warm and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the variety of landscapes is staggering. Thank you Asela and Olanka travels for a truly unforgettable holiday.

Incredible trip
We have just got home from the most magical trip. From start to finish the service has been excellent. I first contacted Geethanjali at Olanka after a recommendation, after many tweeks to our itinerary we made it perfect. Nothing was too much hassle and the response time always blew my mind, given the time difference my emails were always answered very quickly! The minute we arrived in Sri Lanka we were greeted by the most wonderful driver Anura, where he gifted us with shell necklaces. He was perfect for our family, clearly very passionate about his country and for the people there. His hospitality knew no bounds (even a little store run and drop off when the hotel didn’t do my favourite drink). He made sure the that we visited things at the quieter times and always escorted us through gates to ensure everything ran smoothly. We never felt rushed to get to the next thing and didn’t feel a bother if we were finished sooner. He knew so much and could always answer our questions. I honestly cannot thank Anura enough for the warm way he treated my family, the ‘babies’ were so comfortable around him and it was bear hugs all around when time to say goodbye. All of the included experiences were great and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Top tip - do not go for first class on the train! All in all it was a fantastic trip with even better service from Olanka. Thank you so much!
