Terrible experience and completely unreasonable baggage fees.
My ticket included 20 kg checked baggage. I had 30 kg in total, so I had only 10 kg of excess baggage. I tried to add the extra baggage online, but it wasn’t possible. I therefore called Nok Air’s hotline before my flight, and was told to simply purchase the additional baggage at the airport. At the airport, I was charged 8,000 THB — and the receipt states 20 kg, even though I only had 10 kg of excess baggage. Apparently, the charge was applied twice because my journey consisted of two connected flight segments. What makes this even more ridiculous is that Nok Air’s own conditions state that lost baggage is compensated at 400 THB/kg, capped at just 2,000 THB total. So apparently I can be charged 8,000 THB for additional baggage, but if the airline loses that baggage, the maximum compensation is 2,000 THB. 🤡 I will be requesting a refund, but this experience has completely destroyed my trust in the airline. Extremely poor communication, confusing baggage policies and outrageous fees.

Just another low cost airline
I took 3 flights with this airline as a handicapped person, the staff was kind, and they were fast bringing my chair out of the plane. They should improve the landings but apart from that, this low- cost airline is perfect.
