UPDATE: Independent second opinion confirms multiple implants have no bone support This is my second review of International Plus Clinic. Since my last one, I got an independent second opinion from a Dutch specialist (implantologist and prosthodontist, maxillofacial surgery staff at LUMC) — a proper CBCT scan and clinical exam, €320 out of my own pocket. The findings: exposed implant threads at five separate positions in my upper jaw, no keratinized gum tissue around them, a visible gap between my bridge and my gums, and — on CBCT — several implants positioned too far to the outer (buccal) side of the jaw with no bone support on that side at all. This isn't my opinion. It's in a signed, dated clinical report from a licensed specialist. I sent this report to the clinic. Their written response: they cannot conclude anything because they "do not have" my pre-operative CBCT, surgical plan, or records from when the implants were actually placed in September 2024. For a full-arch implant case — five-plus implants placed under CBCT guidance, by any normal clinical standard — that is not a small gap. It's the entire record of the surgery itself, missing. For context on how this clinic operates: after my first review, I was refused reimbursement for an independent check-up in Rotterdam until I agreed to delete that review. I later received €80 in exchange for taking it down. My aftercare contact Olga Zemin booked a follow-up call with the doctor at the wrong date/time, so it happened with zero preparation on my end. Arina, a different aftercare contact, was more responsive and actually got a follow-up visit arranged — the one part of this process that worked properly. That follow-up visit took a month of back-and-forth to schedule, and I was told throughout that "everything was normal." When I finally traveled back (at my own cost), they promised to fit the new prosthesis with a few days to spare so I could check it. Instead it was done on my last day, with no time to assess anything before I flew home. Current result: visible metal every time I smile, a gap between gum and prosthesis, saliva running through it, food trapped constantly — and now an independent specialist confirming several implants have no bone support on one side. I've sent a formal written request for my complete surgical and imaging records, with a deadline, and I'm preparing a complaint to the Turkish Ministry of Health with the second-opinion report and CBCT images attached. If this isn't resolved, I'll be pursuing it through every available channel, including having the implants redone by another provider at additional cost to me. Do your own research before booking here. Ask specifically what they retain in your file before you agree to surgery.

I’m very happy with my first experience…
I’m very happy with my first experience at International Plus Clinic in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, everything was organized professionally and smoothly. Transportation, appointments and communication were all arranged very well, which made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I came for the first stage of my dental treatment and had my implants placed. I was a little nervous before the procedure, but the team made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. Everything went smoothly, and I was surprised by how easy and painless the experience was. What I especially appreciated was the personal attention and the way the staff took care of every detail. I never felt rushed and always felt that I was in good hands. I’ll be returning for the next stage to complete my crowns, and I’m looking forward to seeing the final result. Thank you to the doctors and the entire team for such a positive experience!

You'll need lots more money!
Be prepared to pay a lot more once you get there!!! Price-gouging 101. Forget everything they told you before you come - your contract is worthless. They don't honor what they say, they say anything to get you there and then everything changes, for the worse. The smart thing to do is find somewhere else to go!!
