I would leave zero stars if this was possible. Last week, I left my phone, condo access card & keys in a Grab in Kuala Lumpur. A friend called Grab Help Centre and they told us the driver had searched his car and found nothing. So I had to buy a new phone and get a locksmith to get into my flat. Much later, when the Grab app finally downloaded on my new phone, I contacted the driver. That's when I discovered that at the time Grab told me he was searching his car, he was actually rushing to prayers and couldn't search his car! So Grab lied to me outright. How could their help centre employee be so nasty and vindictive? After his prayers, the driver searched his car, found my stuff and messaged Grab to tell them. What did they do? They sent a message to me using SMS!! What sheer incompetence! Why not use the Grab app? Luckily the driver was an helpful man who met with me to return my things. This was 12 hours after my whole ordeal began - an ordeal that could have been avoided had Grab Help Centre not lied. When I filed a complaint with Grab, they admitted it was their fault but had the gall to say that they don't do compensation, even though I was out-of-pocket by over RM 4k, not to mention the stress and hassle over an entire day. I screamed at them down the line and a few days later they came back with an offer of RM 50. That's even more insulting. Whatever you do, do NOT call Grab Help Centre for anything! Grab is the epitomy of a faceless corporation that could not care less about its customers. I wish there was serious competition for Grab in this market. They think they can do anything because people will always be forced to use them.

Grab’s product design has become terrible. 1. Showing closed stores when I’m simply trying to order wine — basic UX failure. 2. Terrible customer support when something goes wrong — useless and frustrating. 3. Incompetent product management that allows these basic failures to exist, wasting company money, damaging the product, and driving the customer experience into the ground. People responsible for this level of product incompetence should not be running products at Grab.

One star only because zero is not an option. I was a happy, repeat Grab customer. After this ride in Indonesia, I’m done. The receipt speaks for itself: Initial booking total: IDR 226,800 Final total: IDR 310,000 Adjustment: +IDR 83,200, almost 37% more The driver did nothing wrong. The IDR 19,500 toll was real and correctly paid. The rest is on Grab. The final bill included IDR 16,000 Platform Fee, IDR 23,000 Foreign Service Fee and IDR 15,000 Airport Surcharge. Grab already knew I was using its platform. Grab already knew which card was registered. Grab already knew the pickup was at the airport. These were not unforeseen costs arising during the ride. They were known before I booked. And this is the point: burying a charge somewhere in legal terms is not transparency. Showing it clearly before the customer accepts the price is. Showing IDR 226,800 and ending at IDR 310,000 is exactly the kind of pricing practice that makes customers feel deceived. This is not about a few euros. It is about commercial ethics, deliberate opacity and trust. You did not lose a customer because of the amount. You lost one because of the method. Goodbye, Grab. Permanently.

I left my phone on a Grab ride on 24/8/2026 in Saigon District 8. I tried to call Grab customer service many times in the app help center but no one answered. I then wrote a detailed report in the app help center what happened. I even sent them the Grab car license plate number recorded from my residence security camera when the driver dropped me off. Grab Vietnam specialists (Tien Pham and Phú Tieu) didn’t help me at all. They told me to check my emails which i did but they didn’t resolve my case. Then they told me not to use my email but to use the app help center instead. I am going back to the USA in 2 days. It appears my missing phone would become a stolen one. I give Grab a negative star for my bad experience.
