Broken verification. Views choked.
I am a 70 year old man being treated like a child and excluded from groups and views because the only form of ID verification they accept for UK users is a credit card. I do not need or want a credit card. They pretend to have another form of ID verification but it doesn't work. Also, their "algorithms" seem to cut, or freeze, my view numbers for no discernible reason. I now have less mentions and interactions than I got five years ago. I cancelled my pro subscription. They treat loyal long term users with complete disregard bordering on contempt.

CRITICAL: 20-Year PRO Heritage Account Fraudulently Erased on Renewal DayBody:I am absolutely devastated.
I have been a loyal Flickr PRO member since 2006 (Username: Alejandro Olivera - nickname photos/alestaleiro On August 10, 2026, Flickr successfully charged my credit card $96 USD for my annual renewal. On that exact same day, my 20-year historic professional account and personal memories were locked and have now completely vanished from the platform. The support team is sending automated templates refusing to let me even download my 20 years of daily professional work. I do not have a backup of these photos. This is a severe breach of contract and an abusive business practice. It is a nightmare. I demand a senior manager to manually restore my database from server backups. Urgently!!

The interface is horrid
The interface is horrid. Instead of being able to type in an address to search for the right place to position a photo, you have to drag and hunt for the location. Today I had to move from Vietnam to California. Farcical. Everything about it is clumsy, and it never gets better. Unless you pay you can't download your own photos at original resolution.

They are forcing you to pay for PRO to…
They are forcing you to pay for PRO to download your photos at it's original resolution. I'm sorry but I own my pictures and I think what they are doing is morally wrong. If it wasn't for this, Flickr would of received a 4 or 5 stars. Reason I wouldn't go for 5 is because they accept A.I on a site that is meant for photography. I am leaving and I won't be coming back.
