Ireland's Harristown Call Centre Operator Demetri extremely rude and obnoxious. 19.08.26 at 15.00. Operator Demetri, very dismissive, rude, curt and unhelpful. Would not address my question, said he had difficulty understanding english and spoke over me and cut me off in the end pulling the "do not shout at me card' spoke over me and then hung up mid sentace. Is this now the new Fedex level of customer interaction in Ireland?? The immediate following operator who answered understood my question with ease and politely and efficiently dealt with my query. Fedex, don't hire IGNORANT RUDE MEN who cant grasp english to answer calls if you want to keep customers... who are your revenue..!!!!

Tracking shows the item is in Harristown Co Dublin since last week 14th, 12 km from where I live. Yet, today on 17th I got new delivery date 18th . The item is traveling longer from Harristown to my place (12 km) than from Italy to Ireland 😶

To the FedEx Management Team / Public Review, I am writing this as a formal complaint and a public warning to any business relying on time‑critical shipments. My experience with FedEx Ireland over the past week has been nothing short of disgraceful – a cascade of misinformation, stonewalling, and sheer negligence that has cost us days, credibility, and ultimately the shipment itself. The facts (all documented with call logs and timestamps): Monday: Our urgent shipment of 5 cartons (critical spare parts) arrived in Ireland via air freight. Tracking confirmed arrival. Tuesday (AM): I proactively called FedEx to ask if any additional documentation was needed for customs. Answer: “Nothing, all in order.” Tuesday (PM): I called again. A different agent told me that one batch had already cleared customs and would be delivered next day, while the other was still under customs review – but again, “no action required from you.” Wednesday: Tracking still showed no updates. I called once more – now I was told that neither batch had cleared, and again, “we don’t need anything from you.” When I asked for a direct contact at the FedEx customs clearance team, I was flatly refused and advised to “look up Irish customs phone numbers online and call them myself.” Thursday: Multiple calls. Each time I stressed the extreme urgency and asked repeatedly if any paperwork was missing. Every single agent assured me that nothing was required – they claimed they were “in touch with customs” but that customs were solely responsible for the delay, and FedEx could do nothing. Separately, I sent three emails to the FedEx clearance address provided – the only replies I received were automated acknowledgments. No human ever responded. Friday morning: I received a voicemail from your complaints department (after they had closed a ticket earlier in the week – a ticket they closed without resolution). Now, for the first time, they told me that customs did need supplementary documents, but that the requests had “not been delivered due to an incorrect email address.” This is an absolute fabrication. From Tuesday onward, I voluntarily verified my contact details (phone and email) with every agent I spoke to – repeatedly. I offered to provide any missing information. I asked if there was anything, anything at all, that I could submit. Every time, the answer was a flat “No.” And then – after I contacted my own supplier on Friday (outside FedEx), they got back to me within 15 minutes with the exact customs requirements. Fifteen minutes. Your organisation took four full days to figure out what my supplier did in a quarter of an hour – and even then, only after I had already been given the runaround. The outcome: Your complaints team then informed me that even if I provided the documents immediately, the earliest delivery would be next Monday. At that point, I told them to return the entire shipment. The parts are now useless to us.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
