Fully Upgraded La Pavoni Brass and Copper Professional
When I saw that the gold La Pavoni Professional espresso machine was out of stock at the one US vendor I trusted, I looked up what people said about Coffee-Sensor and decided to order it from Romania, even though, on the face of it, it seemed crazy. What if the machine arrived damaged; how could I send it back to Romania? When I went to the Coffee-Sensor website, I found it somewhat confusing, so I wrote to them about what I was looking to buy and got an immediate reply. Looking at the machine, I learned that it had been upgraded in three respects: Lever Pressure Gauge, One Hole Steam Wand, Attachment to Keep the Group Head From Overheating. I was so eager to get this machine that I accepted the expensive shipping and the fact that Trump's tarrifs would increase the price by 15%. At that time I didn't realize that the incompetents at the United States Customs would hold back delivering the machine to me because of crazy requirements demanding to know the origin and nature of every component. The customs would write to me and I would forward to Tudor (owner of Coffee-Sensor) and he would tell me that he had done what they asked, but he kept getting moved to a different bureaurocrat each time. One hand didn't know what the other was doing. For all of this I blame our current administration. I finally got the machine and extra puck baskets and began the process of mastering a tasty espresso. I wrote to Tudor, asking how to raise the temperature of the group head and he instructed me to do dry lever raises. This worked. I am finally getting complimented by my coffee loving friends on the taste of the espressos I make for them.

Essential Stop for your La Pavoni
Easily the best store to find the most comprehensive & quality parts for La Pavonis. The owner, Tudor, is incredibly knowledgeable and has the most interesting aftermarket parts and tools (isolators, steam taps, etc.). Highly recommend doing business with them. If you're in the U.S. - this shop is well worth the import fees/tariffs. Even accounting for that, they still have very competitve prices.
