Refund denied after visa refusal
Refund denied after visa refusal – no support despite months of communication I booked Clink i Lár Dublin through Booking.com. My visa was officially refused, so I had to cancel. I provided all documents and Booking.com confirmed multiple attempts to contact the property for authorization, but the hotel never cooperated. Months later, I still have no refund, no alternative solution, and both the property and the platform say they cannot help. The amount withheld has caused real financial stress for me and my family. I expected fairness and empathy in a situation completely outside my control. I hope Booking.com and Clink Hostels review cases like mine with more compassion and responsibility toward customers facing unexpected hardship. — Muhammad Mudassir

I booked a room for $30 per night through booking.com and got a notification to check in online and check in online. And there they immediately showed me an offer to upgrade to my own number +400 euros. I hit the button by accident as it was at 7am while lying in bed. But there was no cancel button, no button to confirm the order. Just an add button. And they immediately started trying to write off 400 euros from me. Although I immediately wrote both by mail and through booking that I do not need an upgrade, this is an accident. Nobody is answering. And the money is deducted. There is no law that does not prohibit me from canceling an order instantly. If I did not pay for it, and even more so did not tie up the card. I really don't recommend this one

Hostel in London geschlossen, Erstattung zunächst verweigert, hätte ich doch besser woanders gebucht...
Hostel in London geschlossen, Reise schlicht nicht möglich, erstattet wurde zunächst trotzdem nicht. Bekanntermaßen ist eine Städtereise nach London aufgrund Covid/Corona 2020/2021 wohl nahezu unmöglich. Das Hostel Clink78 war deswegen auch geschlossen. Das hinderte Clink aber nicht daran für eine nicht erbrachte Leistung/Buchung die Rückerstattung zunächst zu verweigern. Die pauschale Aussage "...das ist nur bei der flexrate möglich" hilft in Pandemiezeiten wenig. Andere waren da kundenfreundlicher: booking.com; airbnb.... Ja, hätte ich nur über die gebucht.... Nach Beschreibung der Erfahrung hier ist nun die Erstattung doch noch erfolgt. Daher nun 3 Sterne statt bisher einem Stern.

Stayed with friends last summer and had…
Stayed with friends last summer and had a great time. Really personable staff and at a fantastic rate - excellent value. Rooms clean and service just fantastic. Karaoke room was pretty ace and just an all-round fun, friendly place to escape to. I would highly recommend.
