Certina DS Action
The quality of Certinas products are really disappointing! I bought a Certina DS Action Chronograph Titan less than 3,5 years ago. This is one of the more exclusive products in their lineup and is still on the market. The clock was always handled by certified professionals and nu damages what so ever. So, less than 3,5 years old the clock suddenly broke down. I took it to my local certified dealer and they sent tit to Certina headquarters with good hope to get the clock fixed on goodwill, as the warranty is 2 years. Neither Certina could find the cause for the malfunction and just replied that the warranty is 2 years, nothing else. The clock was less then 3,5 years old!! The quality of Certinas more exclusive products are remarkably poor and the company seems to ignore their customers and by this their brand! I strongly advice not to purchase any of their more expensive products!

Jag är riktigt besviken på Certina. Jag köpte en Certina DS Action Chronograph Titan för tre och ett halvt år sedan. Klockan kostade då ca 10.000 kr och säljs fortfarande idag för ca 11,500kr. Klockan var välskött och utan skador, men slutade helt enkelt fungera efter knappa 3,5 år!! En urmakare i stan skickade den till Certina i Stockholm för undersökning i hopp om att Certina skulle vara måna om sitt varumärke och ersätta genom goodwill - men Certina kunde inte förstå varför den slutat att fungera, och hänvisade bara till att garantitiden var 2 år! Jag hade mycket högre tankar om Certina och deras kvalitet på deras produkter än så här! Jag avråder starkt från att köpa deras dyrare produkter!!!

CERTINA DS Action diver. First of all I love this watch! It's my daily beater, great looks and rugged, accurate enough, after all who really cares if it loses a couple of seconds a day? Crown thread failed and couldn't screw down so contacted Certina and told it needs a standard service. Packaging and postage arrived and off it went for service. Condition report pre and during service was accurate. Tracked through their website but expected delivery date came and went. Contacted them, good response and received watch a couple of weeks later. When it arrived the bezel, insert and case didn't aligned. Both off by half a second. Good response from Certina and watch was returned to them. Response was not satisfactory. Stated that it had been inspected by a senior technician and was in acceptable limits. You dont have to be OCD (but it helps!) To realise this isn't acceptable after a few back and forward emails the watch was re serviced and returned (had to chase them a bit as delivery went past scheduled date). Watch came back perfect. All replaced parts were returned as well. Yes, the watch was away for 5 months, yes I had to chase them for delivery and yes I had to argue the case on the misalignment but the watch is perfect and will serve many more years. It pays to remember that servicing of a watch with the manufacture takes months. And certina were a fraction of the cost of Panerai, Rolex, Omega.

C’est dommage…..
Première expérience CERTINA et c’est plutôt décevant, j’aurais préféré vous donner de la force. Ayant ignoré les mauvais commentaires je pensais que tout irait bien. La montre est magnifique et la conception est bonne bravo aux équipes. En revanche la fabrication CERTINA et le sav TISSOT laisse à désirer surtout pour du Swiss made l’expérience est gâchée. Un mois sans ma montre neuve. Car livrée avec défaut sur mécanisme faisant partie d’une série mais pourtant pas détecté par leur service qualité. De retour sav le cadran était complètement décalé avec de la poussière on m’explique que cette fois une personne expérimentée fera le sav. Après le deuxième sav la montre est en ordre mais une poussière métallique est présente et visible aisément à l’œil nu. Fatigué de perdre mon temps avec tous ces allers et retours, je décide de garder la montre ainsi et comprends qu’ils ne sont pas capables de travailler normalement. Je ne peux faire confiance à cette marque pour la fabrication et l’entretien cela est bien dommage. Je pense me tourner vers des marques plus sérieuses à l’avenir. Bien sur les personnes ont été sympathiques au téléphone. Mais je n’ai reçu aucun courrier ou juste une simple intention, cela aurait été le minimum pour témoigner du respect suite à tous vos désagréments causés.

Certina doesn't react.
My watch is sent by Certina to a place in Besancon, France. I got a login-code so I could see that it's registered with an incomplete address. I called twice Certina. After a minute you can speak in on a tape and they will call you back. They never called back. Also twice, I've filled in a contactform. The first time the raction was: we need a servicenumber. That servicenumber was already filled in at the contactform but I sent it again. No response. On the second contactform came no reaction. I inherited the watch from my father, so you can imagine that this watch is very important for me.
