Appena contattata l'agenzia per richiedere informazioni su un mulino in vendita a Casanova Lerrone tramite Idealista. In particolare, l'immobile era pubblicizzato come classe energetica A3. Alla richiesta di ricevere l'APE via email, in modo da visionare il profilo energetico e valutare quali azioni intraprendere per un ulteriore miglioramento, la responsabile dell'Agenzia mi dice che, per politica sua, non invia documenti a clienti che non hanno visionato l'immobile. Aggiunge che su idealista non sa chi ha messo A3 ma che è A3 perché è una casa molto grande costruita nell'ottocento (sic!). Chiedo di sapere, almeno, la classe energetica reale e chiedo conferma che sia stata redatta l'APE, come da obbligo di legge per chi vende gli immobili. Non mi viene data risposta. La conversazione prosegue con evidente tentativo di sviare il discorso, senza giungere al punto, sino a chiudersi con un nulla di fatto. Immediatamente alla chiusura della telefonata, mentre stavo segnalando al team di Idealista la spiacevole esperienza, l'annuncio viene rimosso da Idealista.

After deciding to come to Italy but needing to find our next home, things got very confusing and stressful fast. Italy doesn’t run the same way as what we were used to, it’s all about relationships. And when you’re a foreigner and don’t have those, or the local knowledge or Italian skills, the difficulty level goes up exponentially. Having found Casa Riviera, Cora and her team were really a turning point. They helped us find the perfect place, with gorgeous Mountain View’s and her perfect English customer service, network of local professionals and attention to detail helped us draft a contract within just a few weeks to our own slice of heaven.

Really great experience working with Cora!
Really great experience working with Cora at Casa Riviera. She not only found us a stunning house to stay in, very reasonably priced with gorgeous mountain views and an amazing English speaking landlord, but also drafted us the proper contracts in English and Italian. She was responsive on weekends as well as out of hours when it was urgently needed. After we moved in she continued to give us ongoing support with our paperwork to actually move to Italy long term. it a massive advantage that she spoke good English but her network and connections helped us save some serious time and headache in the Italian bureaucracy system. Would highly recommend to any foreigners needing someone to assist them in Italy.

Major issues after the purchase
Our experience buying a property through Casa Riviera was extremely disappointing due to a number of serious issues that only became apparent after the sale was finalized. Only after the deed was signed did we become aware of important factors that materially affected the value and usability of the property. These included strict renovation limitations linked to historical protection and condominium rules, as well as the existence and very poor condition of the vehicular access road, which was not shown during viewings. We later learned from neighbors that access problems were recurring. The agency recommended a geometra presented as “neutral,” who in practice did not act independently on our behalf. Significant works, including the need to completely redo the electrical system, were identified only afterward. Post-sale assistance was presented as part of the service, but costs and conditions were never clearly explained and were introduced later. Essential information regarding utilities was delayed, leaving us to resolve matters largely on our own. Further problems also emerged: items that had been agreed upon were missing, other items were removed from the property without our knowledge or consent, furniture delivered was in far worse condition than described, and prepaid services were not completed. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this agency and strongly advise future buyers to carry out thorough, fully independent checks before proceeding. The company publicly disclosed my private email address and made personal accusations in their reply. I stand by my original review. All statements in my review are factual and based on my personal experience. My husband did previously publish a 5-star review based on his own experience, which he later revised and subsequently removed. Despite this, the company continues to rely on and reference that removed review in its public reply. I consider this misleading and request that my review be assessed independently, based on its own content and merits.
