Given a mini van instead of Skoda Kodiaq
Booked a Skoda Kodiaq 6 seaters, and I was given a mini van instead! They told me the Skoda is not available and they would give me an upgrade 😀 which is VW Caddy mini van!! So disappointed as I had to carry my family in a van. The car wasn't cleaned properly either.

Predivno iskustvo sa ovom rent a car firmom vec 2 puta: zimus i sada u julu 2026. U decembru 2025 smo sletili kasno na aerodrom i kartica nije htjela u prvi mah da izvrsi transakciju novca. Par puta je došla zena jedna i govorila uposleniku da aerodrom se zatvara i da moramo da ga napustimo. Tada je divan momak uposlenik Carwiza rekao da se ne brinemo da ce nas on odvesti na adresu svojim privatnim autom. Kartica je na kraju procesuirala plaćanje najma auta i mi smo uspjeli da dobijemo auto. Danas dana 15.jula 2026 smo svratili ponovo u agenciju da se raspitamo za najam auta i djevojka Adna je toliko ljubazna,kompetentna objasnila nam sve sto smo pitala. Samo riječi hvale mogu da kažem za tu djevojku koja je zaista profesionalna,precizna i sigurna u ono sto govori. Toplo preporučujem carwiz u Bosni svim ljudima koji žele iznajmiti auto.

Never Again!!!
Very disappointing and stressful rental experience, especially while travelling with young children. At Sarajevo Airport I was incorrectly told that my rental had not been paid despite presenting proof of payment. I was then informed that my American Express card, issued in my name, was not accepted, even though this restriction was never mentioned in the booking documents. We were effectively forced to use my partner’s card and pay an extra 30 EUR to add her as an additional driver despite the fact that she does not drive. The problems continued with no opportunity to properly inspect the vehicle at collection, poor coordination at return, and attempts to apply questionable charges including an early return fee and a cleaning fee. These were only removed after I challenged them. Desk staff were very unprofessional, swearing in their own language without realising customers could understand them. Overall, a stressful experience with poor communication and unexpected costs. Never again Carwiz.

This is nothing but robbery
I had a very negative experience with Carwiz in Sarajevo, and I do not recommend using their services. I booked my rental car through CarJet, and according to the terms, crossing the border into Croatia should cost an additional €50, which was acceptable to me. However, when I went to pick up the car, the employee told me that this service costs €250. The rental itself for 12 days was €210. He claimed that this price was stated on their own website, even though I did not book through them but through CarJet, and I accepted the terms listed on the CarJet website. This is nothing but robbery— they try to force customers into buying their own “cross‑border insurance package.” I do not recommend using their services at Sarajevo Airport.
