Absolute waste of money
Absolute waste of money. The website is misleading about the level of interaction and things for kids. We paid a lot of money to get a far worse experience than we would have if we'd just gone to a Lego store. The bricks laid out for kids to play with are dirty and broken, and the "displays" are of poor quality and few in number. Don't waste your money.

Luton event
Went today to the event in Luton. My daughter (9 years old) described it as a lego car boot sale. There were very little displayed sets (which is why we went) and so it was not as advertised. It was just full of resellers with overpriced prices. Had I known, I'd have spent that money on a lego set instead of tickets to this falsely advertised event.

Awful event, then awful customer service
I attended the Manchester Brick Fest and it was one of the most disappointing events I've been to. The event was heavily advertised as an exhibition with impressive LEGO displays and a range of activities. In reality, there were very few displays, and those that were there were fairly basic. The vast majority of the hall was taken up by traders selling LEGO products rather than things to see or do. We expected to spend around two hours at the event but had seen everything in less than 20 minutes before deciding to leave. It simply wasn't worth the admission price. To make matters worse, it was an extremely hot day and the venue was packed, with little or no effective air conditioning. The hall was uncomfortably hot, stuffy and unpleasant to be in. After the event, I contacted Brick Fest requesting a refund. Instead of addressing the points I raised, I received what appeared to be a generic response describing what the event is supposed to offer, rather than responding to my actual experience. When I replied explaining that many of those advertised features were either not evident or had not been addressed, including my request for a refund, I received no response at all. Poor value for money, misleading expectations, uncomfortable venue conditions and very poor customer service. I would not attend another Brick Fest event and cannot recommend it.

This really is a bait and switch…
This really is a bait and switch situation as well, it was nothing like the videos that they show on their website and they don’t have any reviews on their website so people can’t look to find out. And for the price of the tickets, it is not worth it.

I paid £39 for me, my husband and my son to go to the Milton Keynes Brick Festival, we paid more so that we could get in earlier. When we got there I was shocked that more than half of it was dedicated to sellers. I had brought my son for his birthday, he's a massive Lego fan, but we didn't spend more than 40 minutes in there and I had to drag my son away from the stalls that were really overpriced which then put him in a mood for the rest of the time there. There were some things for children to do but I think this suits more of a Lego hobbyist more than a child and should be advertised as such. I actually said at the end that it would have made my son happier to actually use that £39 and let him buy the Lego at one of the shops nearby. I do find it annoying that you have to pay to get in to,basically, a large open Lego shop.
