I am deeply disappointed with Bigscreen. I paid fully in advance over a year and a half ago. My Halo Mount order has been pending since June 2025. Since then, I have received absolutely zero official updates or direct notifications regarding my shipment. Because of this missing accessory, I have been unable to use the headset at all. It is just sitting idle. Their support strategy completely isolates older individuals who cannot spend their time sitting in front a computer tracking news on Discord. For the premium price I paid, this is unacceptable. I have formally requested a full refund for my entire order and expect a prompt response.

Bigscreen VR is one of the clearest examples of a brilliant idea being completely undermined by poor moderation, chaotic community management, and a culture that rewards the loudest and most abusive users. On paper, the concept is fantastic. A virtual cinema where people from around the world can watch films together, share screens, and socialise in immersive environments should be a standout success in the VR space. And when everything works and you happen to land in a decent room with respectful users, it can genuinely feel like the future of social entertainment. But that is not the experience most users encounter. First, Bigscreen is far more than just a screening app. While it is often described that way, in reality it functions as a community gathering platform where people meet to talk, debate, and socialise. Conversations frequently move far beyond films, touching on religion, politics, world events, and social issues. In many rooms, the film becomes background noise while discussions dominate. Because of this, Bigscreen operates less as a passive viewing app and more like a public social forum in VR, which makes moderation, safety, and accountability absolutely critical. And here is where the platform catastrophically fails. Public rooms frequently descend into harassment, insults, and personal attacks. Racist language, homophobic slurs, and other deeply offensive remarks are thrown around casually. Users make wild accusations about others—sometimes extremely serious allegations—with no evidence. What should be a relaxed social environment becomes a toxic shouting match. A major and ongoing issue is the revolving door of bad actors. Certain individuals deliberately provoke arguments, harass other users, and record interactions to post edited clips online to smear or target people. Some of these individuals who act as a group have been banned multiple times, only to return under new accounts—or resume the same behaviour elsewhere—within minutes. The same personalities repeatedly reappear, creating an environment where ordinary users feel like they are constantly encountering the same hostile actors under slightly different names. Then there are the safeguarding and content issues. Despite being marketed as a social entertainment platform, it is not uncommon to encounter rooms streaming explicit adult content. Some are dedicated to what the community refers to as “gooning rooms”, where pornography is played continuously and the environment revolves around a niche, highly disturbing sexual fetish. Some of these rooms reportedly stay open for extended periods. Given that VR platforms attract younger users, the risk of minors encountering explicit material is very real. The platform often responds by saying parents should monitor their children, but this is disingenuous. It is not enough to put the burden on parents when explicit rooms remain active and visible. A system that relies on parental oversight to police material already circulating on the platform is fundamentally flawed. Bigscreen could be truly brilliant. Watching a film in a virtual theatre with people across the world can be a genuinely enjoyable experience in the right room with responsible hosts. But those rare positive experiences are constantly overshadowed by trolls, serial harassers, repeat offenders, content manipulators, and explicit adult rooms that are easily discoverable. Bigscreen has built an impressive virtual cinema. What it has not yet built is a safe, well-moderated community environment that its social and public forum aspects demand. Until the developers protect the actual victims of harassment rather than repeatedly allowing bad actors to return and continue their behaviour, and until they take real action against explicit content that minors can access, Bigscreen VR will remain a brilliant idea trapped inside a chaotic, toxic, and often disturbing social experience.

Title: Refund Secured, But the Journey Was Unnecessarily Stressful — Buyer Beware of Shipping Promises Review: I placed a $1,665.99 order for a Bigscreen Beyond 2e with Custom-Fit Cushion, Audio Strap, Halo Mount, and Cover Shell on Saturday, March 7, 2026 (Order #BS039481743). I completed my 3D Face Scan the very next day, Sunday March 8, and received confirmation that it was successfully processed. Here is what happened next: Bigscreen's website and their March 6, 2026 blog post advertise that Beyond 2e orders now ship within 1–3 business days, and "in many cases, Beyond ships within the same day." Their order confirmation email also states orders ship within 2–3 business days. By Thursday, March 12 — three full business days later — I had received no shipping notification whatsoever. Additionally, at no point during checkout was I given the option to select a shipping speed. The system defaulted to Standard Shipping ($29) with no expedited or overnight alternative offered. For a $1,665.99 custom VR headset, this is a significant oversight. I emailed support at 9:40 AM EST on March 12 requesting either an expedited shipping upgrade (which I offered to pay for) or a cancellation and full refund, as I was relocating internationally on March 17 and no one would be at my address to receive the package. I received only an automated reply stating response times are 1–3 business days. After a full business day with no human response, I sent a second email formally cancelling the order. Bigscreen's automated system actually generated a shipping notification 99 seconds after my cancellation email — confirming that no human had reviewed either of my messages. The estimated delivery? March 18, one day after my departure. To Bigscreen's credit, a support agent named ClayStation ultimately pulled the order from fulfillment, cancelled it, and issued a full $1,665.99 refund within 49 minutes of my final demand. The refund was confirmed by both Bigscreen and Affirm/Shop Pay on the same day. I appreciate that the resolution was complete and that no portion of the refund was withheld. However, I want future buyers to be aware of three things: (1) the advertised 1–3 day shipping may not reflect your actual experience, (2) there is no option to select expedited shipping at checkout, and (3) if you need timely support, be prepared to escalate firmly — their auto-reply system creates a gap between your urgency and their response time. I never had the chance to use the product, so I cannot comment on the hardware itself. This review is solely about the purchasing, shipping, and customer service experience. I hope Bigscreen addresses these gaps — the product has an enthusiastic community and deserves a customer experience to match. I never leave reviews, but i ordered a VR headset from bigscreen and after 3 months of no real updates on my order status and contacting their support multiple times. They failed to ever give me an ETA on my device and I eventually had to demand a refund. Terrible customer service, would not recommend.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
