A fabulous way to see the sights of London
We visited London yesterday as a family of 6 ( 3 adults, 17 year old, 6 year old and 9 year old ) most with limited mobility. So I was looking for a way to see as much of London as possible without the dreaded step count . After reading the reviews I was very skeptical about booking a big bus tour but I’m so glad that we did . We got the train in to Marylebone station, so using the route map online we worked out that it would be easiest for us to get on the bus at Baker Street to start our tour . The whole tour was fantastic, we all loved the automated tour guide stories through the headphones and the sights were fabulous. We decided to get off the tour bus at Tower of London where we were greeted by a lovely young man from big bus tours who approached us to ask where we’re going and if we need any help with directions to the river cruise which really helped . We grabbed some lunch and used our included river tour ticket with City Cruises to get back over to Westminster. The boat tour was just as good and a great partnership for them to have . It was very interesting as it had a great tour guide chatting on board telling us lots of info and we found all staff very professional and helpful . FYI - It was light years better than a very similar boat boat trip I did a couple of months back with a very big chain company who also provides taxis too ( not mentioning any names;) which was awful and I would never do again . After getting off the cruise tour at Westminster pier we struggled to get on another tour bus as the one that arrived was completely full . We could have waited for the next one but we didn’t want to wait 20 minutes and the next one to be the same so we went for a little wander instead . I think the only thing that I would say is that we found the live bus app to be very unreliable, so we just ignored it. All in all a fabulous day and a fabulous service provided. It seemed like a lot of money to spend but with both the bus tour and river cruise it was worth every penny . We’d all highly reccomend it .

Poor service quality - avoid it!
I used Big Bus Tour because it was recomended by google and ChatGPT. However, it was a very disappointing value for money. The service is too expensive for what is provided. There were long waiting times, the buses were often very crowded, and the stops were not clearly signposted. For the price of the ticket, the overall quality of the service is very poor.

SE SALTAN LAS PARADAS.
SE SALTAN LAS PARADAS. EL 15/08/2029 sobre las 12,30 Se salto la parada del Trocadero, cuando se lo dijimos nos dijo que habia que pulsar un boton de Stop que nadie pulsa, luego en otras paradas se detuvo mucho tiempo. El dia 18 hicimos el Tour nocturno y no nos hizo la vuelta al Arco del Triunfo. Por lo demás los autobuses muy viejos y de limpieza muy regular.

I purchased tickets from one of the operators, and she was really pushing for an upgrade. I’m actually glad I didn’t listen to her, it was not worth the money. I know London well, but decided to do the tour with my nephew, who is visiting me, as I wanted him to learn more about the city’s history. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. There wasn’t much commentary except a few random facts, and the tour route didn’t seem to make much sense, as it felt like we were going around in circles at times. I’ve done a similar tour in New York and it was amazing, so I would definitely recommend doing your research before booking your trip.
