Also had the problem with filling the gas tank. According to google maps, the BP gas station is 550 meters away. I filled up the tank here. as it is customary in South Africa, you do not do it yourself. So returned the car with the fuel gauge on full. the next morning they drove the car to the Caltex gas station and received 3.26 liters. that could be because when filling up completely, the petrol always fizzes a bit and then descends a bit further. When you refuel hours later, it has now been driven for 2 km and you very slowly fill the tank to the brim, with the pipe there, you will always be able to add something. this is only a small amount, but it is the principle that counts. Do you want to keep customers happy so they come back or do you want to frustrate customers so they never come back. Management: do something about this if the continuity of your company interests you. or adjust the rules or simply ask a few rands more at the rental and the problem is solved. N experienced this in the whole world.

I have to agree that the return process is nothing more than a scam to make money. The car I returned was perfect and full of fuel. The guy doing the return noticed a nick in one of the tyres. It was tiny. He wanted me to complete an incident form detailing the date it happened and admit to an accident. The alloys were in perfect condition. This was just a minor defect in the tyre that had probably been there since new. I refused and explained that there was no way it was anything other than normal wear. Charged £250 to my card 2 months later without any communication or means of arguing. Avoid at all costs!

Fraudulent charge of fuel + refuelling fee
Returned the car with a full tank. They charged 11 litres of fuel and a refuelling fee anyway! I sent a receipt from the gas station where the tank was filled 4 minutes before returning and a picture of the dashboard with full fuel indicator as proof but they dismissed it saying they can not accept this as proof. Seems like I got scammed.

poor customer services
rented a vehicle while it was still "bidvest" when i returned vehicle the name was changed to "bluu", inspected the vehicle with the staf from Bluu and vehicle was found okey by them. Later i was charged 2800 rand for "Claim Admin@ R 907.00 /Rental 907.00 CDW Liabili@ R 1610.00 /Instance 1610.00" no idea what that is and after few emails stil no reply from bluu
