Diese Online-Sprachlernplattform hebt sich deutlich von anderen Angeboten ab. Sie hilft den Lernenden nicht nur dabei, eine Sprache zu lernen, sondern trägt tatsächlich zu ihrem persönlichen und sprachlichen Erfolg . Besonders positiv ist, dass gleichzeitig an den wichtigsten Sprachkompetenzen gearbeitet wird: Sprechen, Schreiben und Grammatik. Dieser ganzheitliche Ansatz ermöglicht einen nachhaltigen Lernfortschritt und stärkt das Selbstvertrauen im Umgang mit der Sprache. Darüber hinaus geht die Unterstützung weit über den regulären Unterricht hinaus. Die Plattform bietet zusätzliche Kurse und individuelle Betreuung zur Vorbereitung auf Sprachprüfungen. This is how languages should be taught!
BACKGROUND: Originally from the UK, I have now lived in CH for almost 19 years. When I first arrived, I attended a well-known Deutschkurse for 8 months (2x weekly), which personally confused me more than it helped – it was so heavily school/classroom/book based, as if I was preparing to write a technical paper, simply put: boring! Since then, I’ve muddled my way through life (amazing how you can survive on friends and Google Translate), used online apps, bought books, and picked up a large vocabulary of random ‘words’ with the odd few sentences… But beyond the obligatory expat goto: ‘Entschuldigung, mein Deutsch ist nicht gut – sprechen Sie Englisch?‘, that’s where it stopped – I know, embarrassing to say the least. Although I was happily ‘surviving’, I was disconnected beyond my own bubble to the outside Swiss world. Even though the Swiss are adaptable, friendly, and speak very good English, I just couldn’t connect, even at a high level… Same hellos and goodbyes, same short discussions – all very cordial but nothing more… That’s not how to live life to its fullest, right? What became apparent over the past years was that I know a lot of words but lacked any confidence to actually go out there and try to speak. People kept saying, “just speak”, “it’ll become easier” – but in my mind, pulling the words together coherently simply took away any confidence as well as patience (mainly from the other person). I then came across an article from Eveline, the founder of XLINGUA.CH… As I read, I related more and more to the same struggles she had seen in her clients, and her approach to teaching foreign languages was like a breath of fresh air to learning – I reached out to get more details… TODAY: I’m almost 1 month into my private 1-2-1 XLINGUA course (online - 3x per week) and I am having SOOO much fun! The focus isn’t on die, der, das etc. (that comes later), but on simply talking, understanding the structure of German, and more importantly linking it to my English way of ‘thinking’, so I can translate in my head faster. And believe me here, within a few weeks, I went from doing my best to avoid speaking German, to wanting to speak German everywhere I go – the confidence is literally spewing out of me, and better still – I’m actually holding conversations… Yeah, I don’t get everything the other person is saying (i.e., circa 60/70%), but the fact I’m already able to understand the basic structure within a few weeks has been a game changer. For that, I have one person to thank: Oriana – you are a superstar. Thank you for your time, your innovative and fun way of teaching, and more importantly, providing me with constant confidence (and homework). I have every confidence, my puzzle of words will soon start to create something special - thank you! I have another month of 1-2-1 sessions left, and then will likely join one of the group sessions (due to work/family commitments), but one thing is for sure – I will continue - this 'school' and approach is the best I've experienced (incl, from my early University days). I would highly recommend XLINGUA.CH to anyone who wants to start or even enhance their language skills – this is how languages should be taught! Check them out, you won't be disappointed - Viel Glück!

Ein fantastischer Deutschkurs
Ein fantastischer Deutschkurs! Die Dozenten sind großartig, die Gruppen haben die perfekte Größe und die Organisation ist auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Ich habe viel mehr gelernt, als ich erwartet habe. Fünf Sterne ohne Wenn und Aber!
