VOLVO LEASE RETURN - BE AWARE - I have been leasing, 3 Volvos, zero issues until my 2023 XC90 lease return. I turned in the 2023 XC90 (in good condition, ~5,000 miles remaining) specifically to lease their new 2027 XC60 — staying loyal to the brand. A month after the return: a $224 "excessive wear" charge. When I asked why, I was told directly that it's because the dealership chose not to buy back the vehicle — not because of actual damage. I have condition-report photos showing the "damage" is a few small surface scuffs measured in millimeters. I regret making the switch. If you're leasing a Volvo, get your own photos at return and ask upfront whether wear-and-tear charges depend on the dealer's buyback decision — because apparently they do. Volvo does not care if you are a customer who is a return customer even when their service department sucks; you pay on time 100% of the time; are loyal even when there are other brands with better technology; take care of their vehicles etc. I regret leasing my 2027 Volvo from them.

My 18 month old EX30 has had an aknowledged battery safety issue for 10 months now which has reduced the range by almost a third. I appreciate it has been difficult for them to resolve the issue but their customer service has been appaling throughout the whole process, which is still to be resolved. Lack of aknowledging responsibility or any genuine apology. I would never have considered purchasing the vehicle with 150 mile range, I travel 15k miles a year. Parts are now available and two weeks after a request for a repair date, no response from either sales, service or manager. HARWOODS VOLVO CRAWLEY CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL! MY FIRST VOLVO AND WILL BE MY LAST.

Don't do it! We deeply regret choosing the Volvo EX90. The car appears to have been released far too early, before either the vehicle or its software was ready for customers. We have experienced repeated charging problems and numerous software issues, making the car unreliable and extremely frustrating to own. For a premium vehicle at this price, these problems are simply unacceptable. Rather than feeling like Volvo’s flagship electric SUV, the EX90 feels like an unfinished product, with customers effectively being used to test it. We expected far better from Volvo, particularly given the cost and reputation of the brand. We previously had an XC90 and much preferred it. It was dependable, practical and gave us confidence, everything the EX90 has failed to provide. We genuinely regret changing vehicles. Our experience with the EX90 has been stressful and disappointing. Volvo should not have released this car until the charging systems, software and basic reliability issues had been properly resolved. We wish we had kept our XC90.

Slow response and unwillingness to help when your car breaks down.

Extremely disappointed with our Volvo EX90. We are paying approximately **£1,250 a month for a car that we currently cannot drive**. The vehicle has suffered serious issues, including charging problems, and it has now reached the point where it will not open, lock or drive. It is currently sitting in a garage while we continue paying for a vehicle we cannot use. For a car at this price point, and especially one marketed as Volvo’s flagship electric SUV, this is simply unacceptable. What has been equally frustrating is the handling of the situation. Despite raising our concerns and providing supporting information from a Volvo technician, we have been unable to get a satisfactory resolution. We expected much better from Volvo and from a vehicle of this price and reputation. The whole experience has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. **£1,250 a month for a car that doesn't work is simply not acceptable.** AVOID

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
