BEWARE, THIS PRODUCT IS A SCAM!: Terrible Customer Service and Products Not Suited for Europe
I am extremely disappointed with Vitamix. A few months ago (July 2024), I purchased a food processor attachment from Ubuy without knowing it wasn’t compatible with European models. This essential information was nowhere on Vitamix’s website or Ubuy. After days of nonstop searching for what the problem might be, I finally found the answer buried in a thread on Reddit! It was later confirmed by Vitamix that their European bases are incompatible with ANY food processor attachments because they haven’t even created a European-compatible food processor base yet. Then why are they allowing this product to be sold in Europe? Could they not inform customers of this crucial detail before misleading them into buying an expensive, useless product and paying massive shipping fees to Europe? When I contacted Vitamix about this issue, they were completely dismissive and unhelpful. Thankfully, Ubuy refunded me for both the product and the expensive shipping costs. Now, I’m dealing with another issue: I can’t register my Vitamix Ascent Series 225 ml BPA-Free Plastic Blending Bowls and Vitamix Ascent Series 600 ml BPA-Free Plastic Blending Cup because registration is only available for customers in the USA and Canada. This is completely unacceptable! To make matters worse, when I call the French customer service line, I only get an automatic voice message stating that the French customer service is no longer available. The recording attempts to provide an email address and website for support, but it’s nearly impossible to understand due to poor audio quality, a heavy French accent, and an extremely fast speaking pace. This makes it even harder to get any help or find a solution to my problem. If Vitamix can’t support their customers in Europe, then they should stop selling their products here. On top of that, they’re selling products that don’t even work (like my food processor). I don’t understand why the European bases are different from the American ones, but Vitamix should prioritize their customers over profit. Selling something useless without informing the buyer is robbery, especially at such high prices! I have not only wasted money but also a significant amount of time dealing with both of these issues. I have much better ways to spend my money and time. I NEVER thought that a huge, reputable company like Vitamix would end up being such a scam. Vitamix seriously needs to reconsider their pricing and how they treat their customers. I deeply regret buying from this brand and can no longer recommend them.

Überteurer Behälter
Ich habe seit 9 Jahren einen Vitamix Professional 750. Eigentlich ganz zufrieden gewesen. Aber: Nun brach einfach das Plastik vom Behälter im Betrieb, beim Mixen von einem Eisshake. Der neue Behälter soll 229€ Euro kosten. Der Preis ist mir schleierhaft, und wirkt sehr aufgebläht. Dafür sollte so ein Behälter deutlich länger halten. Wohl nicht ohne Grund ist die Garantie für den Behälter nur auf 7 Jahre begrenzt. Für mich ein Grund den das Geld für den Behälter lieber gleich in einen neuen Mixer eines anderen Herstellers zu investieren und künftig die Finger von Vitamix zu lassen.

Die Mixer sind wirklich top
Die Mixer sind wirklich top. Allerdings hat mein Vitamix Prep nicht einmal 4 Jahre gehalten. Die Reperaturkosten lagen bei 260 Euro. Der Mixer wurde nicht gewerblich genutzt, ausschließlich privat, ziemlich enttäuschend für ein Gerät dieser Preisklasse. Auf eine Kulanz von Vitamix ist auch nicht zu hoffen.
