Lorsque j’ai commencé à utiliser cette société, tout semblait plutôt simple. Je pouvais utiliser la plateforme sans problème particulier et, lorsque j’ai décidé de retirer mes fonds, je pensais donc que la procédure serait tout aussi facile. Malheureusement, les choses ne se sont pas passées comme prévu. J’ai introduit ma demande de retrait, mais celle-ci est restée en attente sans explication vraiment claire. Après avoir contacté le service client, on m’a indiqué que je devais effectuer une vérification supplémentaire. J’ai fourni les informations demandées et attendu que le retrait soit traité. Au lieu de recevoir mes fonds, j’ai ensuite été informé qu’un nouveau problème de conformité était apparu. J’ai effectué cette nouvelle démarche et transmis les informations supplémentaires demandées. À ce moment-là, je pensais enfin avoir réglé le problème. Mais une autre exigence est apparue. Et cela s’est répété plusieurs fois. Chaque fois que je remplissais une condition présentée comme nécessaire, une nouvelle vérification, un nouveau contrôle ou une autre exigence de conformité semblait être ajoutée. La situation est devenue encore plus préoccupante lorsque des frais supplémentaires et inattendus ont commencé à être demandés. On m’a expliqué que je devais effectuer d’autres paiements avant que mes fonds puissent être débloqués. J’ai effectué ces paiements parce que je voulais simplement résoudre la situation et que je pensais qu’en respectant leurs demandes, le retrait pourrait enfin être effectué. Pourtant, ce n’est pas ce qui s’est passé. Dès qu’un problème semblait réglé, un autre apparaissait. Plus le temps passait, plus je doutais de pouvoir récupérer mon argent. Je demandais régulièrement au service client une explication claire et un délai précis, mais je n’ai jamais obtenu de réponse vraiment satisfaisante. J’avais pourtant suivi leurs instructions, effectué les vérifications demandées et payé les frais réclamés, mais mon retrait restait bloqué. Bea kix, j’ai décidé de chercher une aide extérieure et j’ai contacté bₑₐₖᵢₓ. D’après mon expérience, ils ont examiné ma situation et m’ont ensuite aidé à récupérer mes fonds. Cette expérience m’a appris à être beaucoup plus prudent avec les plateformes financières, surtout lorsqu’un retrait se transforme en succession de nouvelles exigences, de retards et de frais inattendus.

Restricted my account with no notification
Been a customer with uphold since 2022. Never had any issues until now. My money is in Uphold Jail. Customer service don't replied back or never received any noticed that my account is restricted. I even made a complaint on the uphold portal and still no human response. I requested my money return back to me # 7255664. I know they won't see this . The CFPB is no help at all. You answers all the questions and upload what ever. Then you submit it, then it sends an email saying it couldn't send it to Uphold. Uphold inc, Uphold HQ inc, Uphold Ltd is not signup with CFPB received complaints. Release my Money from Uphold Jail.

Dear Uphold Support, I am writing to formally express my frustration regarding the funds remaining in my account following its closure. I was informed that Uphold could no longer offer me access to the platform, and I accepted that decision. However, I still have funds belonging to me in the account, and I was informed that I would be contacted regarding the return of those funds. It has now been over six weeks since my account was closed, and I have still not received my funds or a clear update regarding when I should expect them. I have also not been provided with a specific timeframe, explanation, or resolution for the delay. I understand that Uphold may have compliance and verification obligations, but keeping my funds for this length of time without providing me with a meaningful update is extremely concerning. I am therefore formally requesting that you: 1. Confirm the exact status of my remaining funds. 2. Explain the reason for the continued delay, to the extent you are legally permitted to do so. 3. Provide a specific timeframe for when my funds will be returned. 4. Confirm what information or documentation, if any, you still require from me to complete the process. I have retained all relevant emails, correspondence, transaction records, and other documentation relating to my account closure and the funds involved. If this matter cannot be resolved promptly, I will consider pursuing the appropriate formal complaint and legal channels available to me. I expect a clear response and a resolution regarding my funds.

Not sure why so many positive reviews
Not sure why so many positive reviews, they must be fake. The platform itself is so difficult to use, very bad UI/UX. Don't even know what to click, where to click. Like where is the send button, receive button and so . This is the worst design ever, I wasted so much time just to look for some buttons.

Uphold is the worst
Uphold has some of the worst communication I’ve experienced from a financial company. They would benefit their customers greatly by giving clear and direct information. For example, PayPal might tell you your account is closed and your funds will be available after 180 days. You know where you stand and what timeline to expect. With Uphold, you are left waiting with vague explanations. I was told they needed to confirm and verify the source of funds before releasing them. That sounds like a straightforward issue that should have a clear process and proper updates and be solved within a week at most, yet 2 months later I was still waiting without a meaningful timeline. Clear communication and realistic timelines would make a huge difference.
