Below I report in more detail about my experience at the windsurfing course at the end of August 2023. The course is basically structured so that you practice per day once in the morning for about 2 hours and then once in the afternoon for another 2 hours on the water. Before you go on the water, you will be taught the basic position and important rules on the simulator. There are enough wetsuits (short and long sleeves) and water shoes of different sizes, so you don't have to buy anything extra for the course. After two days of instruction and practical tips from Claudio and Franka, the exam is child's play 💯%. I and two other participants have successfully received our windsurfing licenses on 31.08. ⛺️ You can of course buy something to eat over the lunch break at the campsite. I recommend you to take something for lunch yourself, because the food in the camping kiosk is too expensive in my opinion. 📌 I would like to mention two small events that say a lot about Claudio and Franka. 1) The course was supposed to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, Tuesday August 29th was a rainy day when it would be extremely uncomfortable to study outside. Claudio, after consultation with all participants, postponed the course by one day). 2) With Franka you could also experience very mindful interaction with students. On Thursday she led the second day of school. Since this day was quite cold wind with fully covered sky, she suggested us a more pleasant course right at the beginning. Instead of going on the water twice, in the morning and in the afternoon, we were allowed to take our practical test right after the practical part. And after changing our clothes, we were left with the theoretical part of the exam, which we had in a sheltered room at the campsite. 🙏 Fortunately, one was allowed to go out on the water again after the theory test and the handing out of the license (I was the only one who took advantage of this opportunity 😁😁😁 ). 🏁 I wish the whole team of flotsam many more successful years and many happy graduates!
