Very Disappointing Experience
Very Disappointing Experience I strongly advise against using Schmidt Global Relocations BV. I shipped my belongings from Australia in November, expecting a professional and reliable international relocation service. My belongings finally arrived in Cyprus in August — around nine months later. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly asked to pay additional charges, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. When our belongings finally arrived, several items were missing. Even worse, my TV arrived completely damaged and unusable (see attached photo). After waiting almost nine months to receive my belongings, finding items missing and my TV destroyed was extremely disappointing. This was an extremely stressful and frustrating experience from start to finish. The delays, constant additional charges, missing belongings and damaged property are simply unacceptable. I expected much better from a professional international relocation company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Schmidt Global Relocations BV to anyone looking to ship their personal belongings internationally.

Schmidt Global Relocations CHAOS
Schmidt Global Relocations scheduled confirmed delivery of my household goods from Toronto to Porto THREE times and then sent me emails delaying those scheduled delivery dates. Finally they sent me a new scheduled delivery date for August 31st. I will not be in Porto on the 31st so I informed them of that. Imagine my surprise that they now stated that I will be 'fined' 1860 Euros for not being available on that date!!!! I did not even contract Schmidt to deliver my goods but this was arranged by the initial movers, Orbit in Toronto. PLEASE PLEASE be very careful of anything to do with Schmidt!!

I used Schmidt Global for a move from Montreal in Canada to Paris in France and it was absolutely perfect, reliable and professional at every step of the process…15 boxes and 12 music instruments with 3 guitars frails in deposit in Canada the 25th May and delivery the 23th July in Paris at my house, with nothing broken or missing… I was able to follow the tracking of my stuff on website and by mails…Great job!…My expérience was really top!…so I recommand for reliability!…Best regards!

I moved from New Zealand back to…
I moved from New Zealand back to France. The NZ packing, pick up and shipment was amazing. Awesome staff and support throughout. Good comms while cargo was in transit, delivery date was able to be arranged at a time that worked for me. Only issue was the size of the delivery truck was much bigger than mentioned (I had specifically asked) so we struggled to get the goods into our house. But other than that, fully recommend!
