During our rental, the vehicle repeatedly produced loud and persistent warning sounds, together with seat-belt and airbag-related warning lights. The problem caused significant inconvenience throughout the trip. We immediately contacted Reykjavik Cars for assistance. The support we received was essentially useless: no effective solution, no meaningful help and no proper attempt to resolve the problem while we were actually using the car. After the rental, instead of seriously addressing our complaint, Reykjavik Cars simply claimed that there was no defect and blamed the warning sounds on luggage placed on the rear seats without the seat belts being fastened. This explanation is plainly contradicted by the evidence: we have 17 videos showing that the rear seat belts were fastened and also showing additional airbag-related warning signals that their explanation completely ignores. The seat belts were still fastened when the vehicle was returned. What is particularly unacceptable is not only the problem with the vehicle, but the way Reykjavik Cars handled it: no proper assistance during the rental, followed by an attempt afterwards to dismiss the entire issue despite clear video evidence. A rental company should support its customers when a problem occurs. Reykjavik Cars did exactly the opposite!!!!!! Extremely poor service, extremely poor customer support and an extremely disappointing way of handling a legitimate complaint. I would strongly recommend choosing another rental company.

Smooth and straightforward experience
Smooth and straightforward process from booking to car return. The price was quite convenient, I chose the platinum fare which I sincerely advise; plus, we received a mobile hotspot with local sim and they managed to pick us up from our accommodation to their office the morning we started our tour. Definitely recommended.

Everything went fine from booking till the end. Booking was easy and clear. I got rapid answers to my questions. The arrival and getting the car was fine. The car we got corresponded at what I had booked. The return was just as easy.
