I couldn’t be happier!
I couldn’t be happier with the work Luke and RetroSix did on my son’s GameCube. My son is on the spectrum and has a real passion for retro gaming. He is also a bit of a purist, so emulators are avoided wherever possible and his GameCube means a lot to him. The console had developed an issue where the optical drive would only read discs after the system had been powered on and warmed up for about ten minutes, so I reached out to Luke for help. My son and I had both watched Luke doing repairs on social media before, so to my son, Luke was already a bit famous. That made the experience even more special. I sent the system from Canada to the UK for a full recap, HDMI mod, new battery, new shell, and some additional work. Shipping it that far was expensive and, on paper, probably a little silly, but I felt confident the console would be in good hands. I also asked if the work could be shown on stream, because I knew my son would absolutely love getting to see his own GameCube being repaired by someone he already admired. Luke and RetroSix went above and beyond. The work was excellent, the attention to detail was clear, and the experience meant far more to us than just getting a console repaired. Seeing his GameCube brought back to life on a YouTube stream made the whole thing incredibly special for my son, and I’m genuinely grateful. RetroSix did an amazing job. For anyone who cares deeply about their retro consoles and wants the work done properly, I can’t recommend Luke and RetroSix highly enough.

Modded Gamecube
I ordered a ready made gamecube console, loaded with games on an sd card. Luke has been fabulous and very attentive. I had a couple issues along the way with the gamecube shell and sd card, which were both sorted, fairly quickly. When sending the sd card back, I recieved a video to show me the product working properly and it was posted back promptly. Amazing service and so happy with my modded console. Look forward to use it and will certainly be back in the future for more.
