Smart Retract for our Outdoor Space
My husband and I purchased a Smart Retract gate for our outdoor patio space to help with our children and dog not running into the street. We have been familiar with Smart Retract Gates as my sister has two in her house that we use often. We immediately thought of getting two of these gates once we complete the rebuild of our outdoor space. They are durable, reliable, and our favorite - Made in America. They work for indoor and outdoor spaces, although we plan to bring both gates in during the winter months just to keep them out of the cold weather. We wanted a gate that we can use when we are outside, but can pull back when we are not outside. Smart retract was the best option on the market. A metal gate does not offer us the same option, as they cannot be retracted in any way. We also wanted a product that was safe for our children, where we did not have to worry about them climbing up the gate and getting hurt. The Smart retract allows us to pull the gate over our opening and lock the gate in place so there is no "give" when our kids push on it. The ability to lock the gate in place is one of my favorite features. Overall, if you are looking for a gate that can retract, that is safe for both your children and animals, can lock into place for maximum protection, and is made in America - Smart Retract is for you! Seriously, we cannot recommend this product enough for both children and animals. If you need a retractable gate for your indoor or outdoor space, this gate is for you!

We absolutely love our Retract-A-Gate…
We absolutely love our Retract-A-Gate gates from Smart Retract. We have been using our gates in the foyer of our home at the bottom and top of stairs. We have an energetic toddler at home and these gates give us peace of mind knowing that she is safe when roaming around the main floor of our home. The gates are easy to install and so easy to use. I love that I’m able to open and close the gates with one hand (very helpful when holding items or a child). We have been using the gates daily for over a year and have had no issues. The gates still look brand new and sleek in our home! We would recommend them to anyone searching for the perfect gate to use with children or pets.
