Exceptional in every respect
Exceptional in every respect – both the product and the customer service I recently ordered a silk tie from Rampley & Co., and the experience has been exceptional from beginning to end. The tie itself is absolutely beautiful. The colours are subtle and sophisticated, the silk is extraordinarily soft, and the quality is immediately apparent the moment one handles it. It arrived immaculately presented in a beautiful, sturdy box, together with a pair of metal collar stiffeners – a small but very welcome touch. What has impressed me even more, however, has been the extraordinary standard of customer service. Rachel dealt personally, promptly and thoroughly with a shipping-charge error and subsequently helped me clarify a customs issue concerning the delivery. Her replies were never generic customer-service responses: she addressed every question individually, intelligently and with genuine care. What finally prompted me to write this review was something that went far beyond what I could possibly have expected. I mentioned to Rachel that the Holland & Sherry bespoke suit for which I had bought the tie seemed to change dramatically between bronze, taupe and olive depending on the light, and sent her photographs merely out of curiosity. Rather than simply acknowledging my message, she took the time to study the photographs and sent me a detailed and extremely interesting explanation of the optical behaviour of the cloth, together with thoughtful suggestions about how different shirts and accessories might interact with it. That is not merely efficient customer service; it is genuine interest in the customer and in the product being sold. I own a little over 40 suits and have bought a great many ties over the years, including from some very prestigious makers. I can therefore say with some confidence that both the quality of this Rampley tie and the level of personal service I received have been outstanding. An unequivocal five stars – and a special thank-you to Rachel for turning the purchase of one tie into such a remarkably enjoyable experience.

Great customer service
Edit: Initially had a few issues with my order, but the team at Rampley handled everything fairly and went above and beyond to rectify them. The pocket square itself is beautiful, and I can confidently say the customer service was excellent.
