Two Months of Promises, Still No Resolution
Disappointing product, even more disappointing customer service I originally left a detailed review because the contents of my three bundles were extremely repetitive and, in my opinion, nowhere near the value I expected. All three contained very similar, readily available booster packs, which completely took away the variety and surprise I was expecting. To their credit, Alex initially acknowledged my concerns and offered either a partial refund or a bonus bundle. I chose a partial refund because I live outside the US and receiving another package could mean paying import VAT and handling fees again. I suggested a 60% refund, which I felt was fair given the value of what I received. This issue has now been going on since July 2nd. Since then, I have emailed Alex repeatedly to follow up. I have personally sent multiple follow-ups asking for an update, while Alex has repeatedly told me that he was working on it, that he would get back to me, or that he would get the issue sorted. At one point, after I had already followed up several times, Alex again confirmed that he was working on it. Later, he offered 60% store credit and said that the duties and charges could be accounted for. I was willing to accept that solution, despite originally asking for a refund, and simply asked how the import charges would actually be handled. He then told me he would get me a code to use. I replied asking him to send the code and clarify how the import VAT and handling charges would be covered. And once again, nothing. So here we are: almost two months after I first raised the issue, after multiple emails from me chasing a resolution and multiple promises from Alex that he would sort it out, I still have neither the store credit code nor a clear answer about the import charges. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I have been more than reasonable throughout this process. I accepted an alternative solution to my original request for a refund, and I have repeatedly given them the benefit of the doubt. Yet I have had to keep chasing a company for a resolution that they themselves offered. The original product experience was disappointing, but the customer service experience has been considerably worse. Offering to make something right means very little if you repeatedly say you will do it and then don’t follow through. I was genuinely willing to update my review positively if this had been handled properly. Unfortunately, after almost two months of back-and-forth, repeated follow-ups, and repeated promises without a resolution, I cannot recommend this company. If you value your time and expect a company to actually follow through when they offer to make things right, I’d think twice before ordering.
