Suspended with zero notice or explanation, hours of silence from support, after almost 2 years as a paying customer
I've been a paying customer of ProxyScrape for almost 2 years, and this experience has completely ended that relationship. My account was suspended out of nowhere, with no explanation given before or after the fact. I still had roughly 15 paid days remaining on my current billing cycle when this happened. This wasn't a case of breaking some rule I wasn't aware of, I've been doing the exact same thing with my account for close to 2 years, and it was never once flagged as a problem. I've also communicated with their team directly multiple times over that period, so this isn't a case of an anonymous account they know nothing about. There's no reasonable explanation for a suspension like this on an established, long-standing account with no change in behavior. I reached out to support immediately asking why. It's now been hours with no reply. For a paid business account with this kind of history, that response time is not acceptable, especially when the suspension itself was never explained in the first place. The impact wasn't theoretical. I run a service that depends on proxies to operate, and if I hadn't already moved to a different provider, my entire business would currently be broken with zero explanation from ProxyScrape as to why. That's an insane position to put a nearly 2-year paying customer in with no warning. This also isn't an isolated bad day for their platform. Their billing system in particular has felt unreliable and poorly built for a while, clunky, unintuitive, and clearly not something they've invested real engineering time into. Combined with an account suspension this careless, after 2 years of no issues, and a support team that goes silent for hours, it points to a company that isn't taking basic account management seriously. If you're evaluating proxy providers, factor in that even a long-standing, well-established account can apparently disappear without warning or explanation, and that support may not respond quickly when it happens. I won't be using them again, and I'd think carefully before relying on them for anything business-critical.
