Free version works for roughly 30 mins…
Free version works for roughly 30 mins then starts buffering, country change is just rinse and repeat. Thought the premium version would resolve that so signed up for deal through pc mag at £1.99 a month. Didn’t get a chance to try it as during sign up process I made a spelling mistake on my email address. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer support to resolve the matter and constantly being talked to by an ai bot that was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike I cancelled the sub. Avoid at all costs people 🫣

Extrem Vorsicht!!seit dem ich Proton VPN Benutze wird alles, aber komplett alles gehackt email Konten alles. Mysteriöse abbuchungen vom konto, sicherheitswarnungen von ebay google, rewords Microsoft bestellungen aus dem Land wo Proton den Server verbunden hat.

I have been a loyal Proton customer for a long time, but after my recent experience, I can honestly say I have had enough. I attempted to renew my subscription, something that should have been a simple and routine transaction. Instead, it turned into an 8-hour nightmare involving multiple customer service representatives and 9 separate transactions, and despite all of that, the problem still wasn’t resolved. Eight hours. Nine transactions. Numerous conversations. And still no solution. To make matters worse, the final response from one customer service representative was, “It would seem you do not wish to co-operate.” Seriously? After spending 8 hours trying to resolve a problem, repeatedly following instructions, and attempting transaction after transaction, being told that I was the one unwilling to cooperate was frankly insulting. This wasn’t a complicated request. I was simply trying to renew a subscription I had been paying for as a loyal customer for years. Proton has managed to turn a long-standing customer into an ex-customer over an issue that should have been resolved quickly and professionally. That takes some doing. If anyone at Proton actually reads these reviews, I strongly suggest you look at what happened here—not just the technical issue, but the customer service failures and the attitude shown towards a loyal paying customer. After years of supporting Proton, I’m taking my business elsewhere. Congratulations, Proton. You’ve lost a loyal customer—not because I didn’t want to cooperate, but because your customer service failed spectacularly to resolve a simple problem.
