WARNING no way
WARNING: Unlawful practices, forced upgrades, and aggressive behavior at PriceCars Romania!On August 18, 2026, at 4:00 AM, we were provided with a Renault Austral instead of our booked VW Golf (or similar). This vehicle upgrade was never communicated to us in advance or on-site; we were simply presented with a fait accompli. To make matters worse, PriceCars is now demanding a €40 surcharge for this higher-class vehicle. They have absolutely no legal right to charge this, as we never requested an upgrade—it was forced upon us due to their own fleet availability issues.The vehicle itself had over 20 pre-existing damages. The pick-up agent completely hid this from us. He deliberately parked the running car in a dark, unlit spot in front of the office, left the keys inside, and walked away, expecting us to just drive off. I had to go back to the office, bring him out, and point out the issues. Fortunately, we took complete photo documentation. Among these damages was a specific scratch that a different agent later wrongfully blamed us for. At pick-up, the first agent explicitly told us it was "not a problem," photographed it in front of us, and assured us it was registered. My daughter also photographed it, and despite the dark, the damage is clearly visible on our photo with the original timestamp.We returned the vehicle on August 21, 2026, at 4:30 PM. As we started taking photos and videos of the car's condition, another agent approached and pointed out a scratched wheel rim. We showed him our pick-up photo, and he admitted it was pre-existing. However, he immediately marched straight to the rear left door, opened it, and pointed directly to the exact scratch mentioned above. He targeted this specific spot instantly without checking the rest of the car, and he didn't even have an official pre-existing damage sheet with him! We strictly stated the scratch was already there. The agent demanded proof but flatly refused to call his colleague from August 18 to verify the facts. When I demanded an official return protocol to write down my objections and sign it, this was also denied.After a loud argument caused by the agent's completely uncooperative and hostile behavior, the employee suddenly jumped into the car, sped away, and left the rental premises entirely. Before abandoning us, he aggressively snapped that our agreed airport transfer was canceled. Moments later, a security guard approached us and forced us off the premises. We had to call and pay for a taxi ourselves just to make our flight on time.Later that day, I received an absurd email asking "how I was doing," followed by a claim that the scratch was new damage. I replied immediately, but the company completely ignored me for a week, and when they finally did reply, they completely dodged my questions.I strongly protest against the unlawful practices, scam tactics, and hostile behavior of the PriceCars staff. Do not make the same mistake we did—avoid this rental agency at all costs. It completely ruined our impression of Romania. Stay away!

Extremely rude staff
Extremely rude staff, paid for a premium car, got a scrap car after hours of waiting, no contact to resolve the problem, just rude unprofessional staff that puts the phone down on you when you try to rase your concern, been given a unsafe to drive car, not on time obviously, after a long wait, expecting me to accept it, legal service needed to resolve this matter just si no other clients will have to deal with this sort of unacceptable, not safe, out of order situation
