Everything went smooth from the…
Everything went smooth from the beginning. I had a few additional questions and got all the answers basically with no delay. When packages arrived they were packed real nice and chairs were in perfect condition. We are happy with purchase and they are beautiful craftmenship and also really comfortable. Can definitely recommend:)

Products are good, service is nice, but ordering from abroad comes with it's challenges
First of all, we can say our overall experience is positive. The products are unique and of good quality. We can also say that the customer service is excellent. We ordered a Cotto chair and four Otto Comfort chairs. They arrived in two shipments, both shipments consisted of two packages. Unfortunately one of the packages with the Otto Comforts was damaged. We are happy to say that the customer service was very understanding and provided us with replacements. Of course this can happen and it was handled very well. Considering the products; The chairs look really nice as presented on the website. The quality is good and have a unique shape. The fabric looks like good quality and the colours really match the look on the website materials page. However time will tell how strong it is. The wood looks great. If you look closely you do see some spots where the wood is joined but it doesn't bother us. As described the wood they used is Cherry, with a Walnut look because it is a more durable wood. To me it looks great and the chairs are light, but feel strong. So they look great and feel durable, but time will tell! I do want to point some things out you should know when buying, that others here mention as well, but we did not realise enough when buying: - The Cotto was not as comfortable as we hoped, the back rest is not that soft. Also it is smaller than we expected from the pictures. But of course this is a risk of buying furniture online. So this is all on us, just something you should be mindful of when ordering. - The chairs come from Serbia, which is not a EU member. This has some consequences in ordering. Here in the Netherlands, not sure how it is in other countries, you have to pay Tax over the chairs when importing. Even though it is mentioned somewhere on the website, we did not realise this. This meant 21% extra costs. So make sure to check what total costs you can expect. - the actual process of importing was a bit of a hassle, providing info to customs etc. Fortunately Pommier helped us with every step, this was nice. What I did not like is that Pommier tries to present the products in a way that you could pay less taxes. Dutch customs did not fall for this and charged us the full amount. To me this was not a nice experience. I'd rather had known clearly about the 21% tax and pay it, without trying to reduce costs with a (legally allowed) 'trick' that in my eyes can never work, at least not in The Netherlands. - The discounts are nonsense. Don't be hasted into buying like we were. Because at that moment they said it was the biggest sale ever, but a couple of weeks later the chairs were even cheaper. The 'original' price will never be paid by anyone since they have a permanent 70%-80% discount. So to conclude; products are nice, customer service is good, but the overall experience of ordering furniture from far away is not something I would quickly do again and would not recommend to everyone...

We bought eight chairs from the family-run business Pommier Furniture, and we are extremely happy with our experience. Everything was excellent: the delivery, the careful packaging, the quality and finish of the chairs, and the friendly communication throughout the process. The chairs arrived in perfect condition and are beautifully made. You can really see the care and craftsmanship that went into them. On top of that, everyone we dealt with was kind, helpful, and professional. We would definitely recommend this company and would happily order from them again. Veronique Lenaers

I’ve had an incredibly good experience with Pommier Furniture. Their customer service is highly professional; they respond very quickly and are truly helpful. The quality of the wood is beautiful, and the craftsmanship clearly shows that skilled artisans worked on the product. I am absolutely delighted with my chairs. Thank you for the excellent service and the beautiful product.

if you are looking for chairs, go for Pommier
I bought eight Pommier chairs in total — four with the standard frame and four with the Comfort frame — and overall, I would definitely recommend Pommier. It is worth keeping in mind that, as this is a small family business and products are made based on demand, production and delivery can take some time. Depending on where you live, you may also have to pay additional customs or import taxes. That said, my overall experience was excellent. Communication throughout the process was very good, especially with Monica, who regularly kept me informed about transportation and expected delivery dates. One of the chairs unfortunately arrived with a damaged frame, but this is where the customer service really stood out. My request was taken seriously immediately, and the issue was handled quickly and professionally. A replacement frame was sent without any complications — truly five-star customer care. After receiving and assembling the chairs, we are extremely happy with the quality. Both versions are very comfortable, with the Comfort frame being especially so. The chairs look beautiful in our living room, feel very solid and well made, and clearly seem designed to last for many years. We are very happy with our purchase and would absolutely recommend Pommier. A special thank you to Monica and the customer care team for the excellent support throughout the entire buying process.
