Just got my order today and the plan was so destroyed an a Aeschynsnthus pink polka several branches are broken leaves rotten or withered just not okay when you pay over 60 euros. Wish I could put up some photos, I am so disappointed over this

*** EDIT *** After this review, I was contacted by PlantCircle. The original support ticket had gone ignored due to system error. PlantCircle took the situation with the moth very seriously and: - immediately issued a full refund without prompting - inspected the remaining plants and the relevant greenhouse area - is contacting customers with said plant on if they've seen anything - removed and disposed of the remaining plants from that batch as a precaution - adjusted their support ticket filtering to avoid delays in the future Because of the very honest response and strong actions I'm raising the review score. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW *** Disappointed in the product and customer service after the fact. I ordered an Cast Iron plant (Aspidistra elatior) which turned out to be infested with Banana moths (Opogona sacchari). This is a highly destructive boring pest which easily spreads and despite the name targets multiple different plants and is EU regulated with a zero-tolerance threshold (this literally means that selling plants with this infestation is illegal). This is because there is very little you can do after a plant gets infested. Larvae of these can: - eat the plant from the inside (woody plants) - eat rhizomes (as was case with my plant) - eat the insides of thick stems. Basically only way to defend against these is with systemics which at least in Finland are not available to private customers. Since this pest is also highly monitored in Finland the guideline from authorities was literally to trash the plant. This is not a very well known pest because it usually doesn't end up in homes and is managed in the plant nurseries. In my case I didn't recognize it either and only got ID after I caught one and delivered it to an expert (at this point it had been month after the purchase). Now I obviously trashed the plant, but at this point it had spread to two of my other plants which also had to get trashed. I'm still in the process of monitoring if any other plant of mine is affected but the damage is pretty hard to swallow even now. What I'm most annoyed by now is the fact that after 9 days there has been zero reply/acknowledgement from customer support. This leads me to believe that issue has been ignored (again this is literally a zero tolerance pest which would be extremely irresponsible to ignore).

Thank you for updating your review to acknowledge the actions we took once we became aware of your original message. We are genuinely sorry for the stress this situation caused and for the initial delay, which resulted from an error in our support filtering and has since been corrected. We would also like to clarify an important point for future customers reading this review. The report was made approximately one month after delivery, after the plant had already been discarded. We were provided with a photograph of an adult moth taken separately from the plant, but no photographs of the Aspidistra, larvae, cocoons, rhizome damage or other evidence connecting the reported pest directly to the plant we supplied. We also did not receive written verification of the identification or its source. This meant that we could not independently confirm that the plant arrived infested. Nevertheless, we chose to treat the report with the utmost seriousness. We issued a full refund without requiring the evidence normally needed, inspected our greenhouse and remaining stock, contacted customers who purchased plants from the same batch, and disposed of the remaining Aspidistra as a precaution. We found no signs of the pest and received no similar reports from other customers. Our actions were precautionary and intended to protect our customers, rather than confirmation that the allegation had been established. As a small business, it is disappointing that the review continues to present the origin of the moth as certain despite the lack of evidence available for verification and the extensive steps we took to investigate and resolve the concern. We remain confident that we responded responsibly, transparently and with greater caution than the available evidence required.

I ordered few plants which one of them…

I ordered few plants which one of them arrived damaged from the transportation, but the customer support was reacting very fast and arranged me a replacement which arrived in perfect condition! All the plants were strong and healthy, will also order again from them!🌿😊 I am very happy!
