New shoes are made from fake/low quality leather
I ordered a pair of Paul Evans Caine bit loafers, since I had a pair from about 4-5 years ago that had held up really well. Lo and behold, I get a pair of poorly made shoes that appear to be made with FAKE LEATHER. All I know is, there is a markedly different quality between then and now. I’m kinda glad I actually received them, instead of many others who haven’t. Go buy from Beckett Simonon and get your moneys worth.

No Star-Terrible Company
If I could No Star, I would. Paul Evan’s is the wordt store I have ever ordered from. It’s been 15 months and I still have not received my shoes. I have emailed them several times last year 2024 and received a reply that the shoes were being made in Italy; it’s been more than a year. I sent several emails; with No reply. Don’t order from this company.

Do NOT order anything from this company. It has been 10 months and I have not received the shoes I ordered for my wedding. Despite multiple email exchanges, they have not provided any shipping details and continually blame import delays. How are there import delays when you can't provide shipping details?! And when a refund is requested, they refer to their policy of after 30 days, they can only offer partial refund with store credit of $100 PER SHOE! How does that make any sense? Per shoe?! Shenanigans. This is a poorly run and dishonest company with questionable and unethical business practices. I've requested a chargeback via the disputes process with my credit card company and am asking them to put this company on their blacklist preventing future buyers from using their payment processing for purchase from this company. No wonder their store in NYC closed down. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them.

Please becarful. Paul Evans is not honest with clients. When you preorder the shoes. After take more then 6 months. You never know by when you should receive the shoes. When you tried to contact them and get refund They just said because their policy they will not return all the money and just offer people like gift card. Some times you will not get the money. Looks like put clients to holds and when we want to cancel they place stumble blocks
