Burn Pantone books!:)
Pantone Connect. Two jobs required to do – to find data about the colour and to add to swatch pallete. I fail to understand why with every update one or another function dissapears, but there are plenty of other useless functions. How about fundamentals getting sorted first please? Pantone books. It would also be useful if buying 2 books of pantones and then refill pages the colours actually matched. They reprinted all of the colours and changes formulations, some colours are shockingly different. The chaos and unnecesary amount of work gets created poorly produced products is huge. People who design the products have zero understanding on how the products are used in practice. I pick a bunch pantone colours, we select 4, then I have to send copies to the supplier. Guess what? Good luck searching for the page numbers. Hence I have to write a page number on every single swatch each time I pull it out from the book. If I could, I would rate pantone minus 10. It’s incredibly frustrating they have a monopoly with printing industry and perhaps that’s why they’re so relaxed about striving to produce usable products and quality. One day I will burn one of the books lol

"A masterclass in wasting your time"
"A masterclass in wasting your time" Pantone Connect 1.1.2 — licensed, paid, and completely invisible. Creative Cloud says it's installed. Your Mac says otherwise. No files. No plugin. No panel. Just a ghost haunting your Plugins folder. Spent an entire day clearing caches, wiping databases, running terminal commands, and contacting both Adobe AND Pantone support. Adobe kept me in a chat queue for hours with no agent. Pantone's chatbot couldn't understand a single question and just kept saying "I didn't quite catch that." $89/year for a plugin that exists only in Creative Cloud's imagination. Pantone invented a color system used by every designer on earth and couldn't figure out how to make their own plugin actually install on an Apple Silicon Mac. Save yourself the day. Use a Pantone hex chart and a prayer.

The worst service!
The worst service! As a professional Designer that needs access to this PANTONE library and already PAYS for it every year for it to fail to work when needed. Calling customer service sto talk to clueless bots takes away valuable time. There are no words for how BAD this company is.
