From water taxi to demo cost is free
The company picked us up by water taxi from our hotel to bring us to the factory. The demonstration was great. He made a horse and a pitcher. And all of that was free. I did end up buying a few things there.

Glass pendant issue unresolved by OMG Venice, Italy
Purchased a glass pendant for a birthday present. The pendant itself was very nice but the clasp that was attached to it, to connect the cord, was a really cheap gold coloured one - and not a nice silver one as shown in their website photos. When I buy something online I expect it to look pretty much the same as on the sales page. I did not want a gold clasp! They offered a compensatory 10 euros, or I could return the item (probably at my cost) to Italy from the UK. I like the pendant so now have had to get a local jeweller to make a nice new silver clasp - like the one shown on the OMG websales page, at a cost to me of £50. The birthday has just gone so now it's going to be around 6 weeks late. I messaged them back saying that it wasn't my fault that they sent something that did not match the look of what I'd ordered and suggested they increase their refund compensation a little higher as the cost to me had risen greatly in having to put their error right. They said they will just refund 10 euros. It's not a great service and they should not be offering items that aren't the same as the images shown. So, it's a real let-down and has spoiled my gift plan for my wife.

Great experience
First, we watched a master make a glass and horse figurine, which was very impressive. Then, two apprentices, Matt and Lenny, showed us how to make a glass. Each of the five of us then had the opportunity to make our own. Matt and Lenny were very patient and helpful guides. Being able to keep our glasses to help us remember our trip to Venice and the experience of making them was wonderful. Highly recommend.
