Awful company. One of the worst experiences of my life.
The bikes are good but the company itself is terrible I got in an accident after only having my bike a month and naturally I know accidents are not covered under warranty. That’s fine I still felt it deserved an investigation because it auto accelerated when I hit a curb but that’s neither hear nor there I didn’t expect that to happen based on what I’ve read about this company. They had a very sweet lady who is there only point of contact otherwise it’s all email and when you do get emails you have to hope they read them correctly because it takes 24 hours for a response typically and when they do respond it’s not even about the issue at hand… I was emailing them about a bike and they kept coming back in emails thinking It was about a scooter… I’m supposed to just mail a 2k bike while their under the impression its a scooter… NIGHTMARE and because I left a rude email and voicemail to a company im not even 100% sure if I’m speaking to a real person or not they told me they can’t help me.. like at all.. this is truthfully one of the most insane things I’ve ever had to personally deal with. Don’t do business with these people there smug and don’t care about you and are completely liars. Other people have been gaslit by this company and haven’t had a resolution at all. I was in an accident 10 days ago and they can’t give me a straight answer on what I need to do next because the person emailing me thinks I’m talking about a scooter and not a bike. Okai sold me a dead battery!
My Okai EB40 ebike battery wasn’t charging. I ordered a $400 replacement battery from Okai. The new battery wouldn’t charge. I took it to an ebike repair shop and they determined the charger was working but the new battery was completely dead. This company has zero quality control. Do not buy their products!

To reach to customer service it’s a hassle I recommend something else Christmas scooter 2025 been without a scooter since March 20206 and still going back and fourth Oh and they reach out when your asleep lol

Decent e-scooters but if anything…
Decent e-scooters but if anything breaks, you're basically forced to scrap the entire scooter. If you contact customer support, they'll pretend to understand your issue, then send you incomplete parts. Rather than admit they don't have the part you need, they'll make you spend money and send you a tire.

🚲 Disappointing Experience with OKAI E-Bike & Customer Service I recently purchased an OKAI e-bike with high expectations, given the brand’s reputation for innovation and quality. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. From the moment my order arrived, I encountered a defective e-bike: EB-40. I immediately contacted OKAI customer service expecting swift support. Instead, I have been met with delays, generic replies, and no meaningful resolution. For a premium-priced product, this is unacceptable. Customers should not be left chasing accountability for weeks, especially when dealing with defects on a brand-new purchase. I have now escalated my case directly to OKAI’s executive team, requesting immediate resolution, but the lack of urgency so far is deeply concerning. If unresolved, I chose OKAI in good faith, and I hope the company will step up and demonstrate that it truly stands behind its products and customers. Until then, I cannot recommend OKAI to anyone considering a purchase.
