I’m loving the Oakley Meta
I absolutely love the Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses. They have become useful for nearly everything I do, giving me easy access to music, navigation, and Meta AI without needing to pull out my phone. The hands-free directions are especially helpful during outdoor and athletic activities. Living in Alaska, one of my favorite features is the camera. It lets me instantly capture wildlife, scenery, and other moments that would otherwise disappear before I could reach for my phone. I also love the Garmin integration, which adds useful information such as the elevation and distance associated with where a photo was taken. The speakers sound great and allow me to enjoy music without completely drowning out the environment around me—an important feature for running, skiing, and other outdoor activities. Overall, these glasses strike an excellent balance between technology, situational awareness, and athletic functionality. The John Cena AI voice is also a hilarious and surprisingly enjoyable bonus.

EV path glasses are terrible
Bought the EV path and these glasses are terrible. Gives me headache as it makes your vision really weird. Even my wife can't wear em. I don't know if its the fact that the lense is rounded but it is hard to support.

These things are the best!
As if the gear obsession wasn’t deep enough already, I just went next level. Joined the AI Glasses gang, and there’s no turning back. Finding running shades that actually fit, stay put, and don’t feel bulky has always been a battle. The Oakley Meta Vanguards ended that draught overnight. These things are an absolute menace. The audio quality beats any other bone conducting headphone option. Using the Meta integration was seamless. I was able to ask Meta to play my playlists and focus completely on my runs. The camera was super high quality and the battery life is insane. They push the soundtrack, capture the miles, work hand in hand with my Strava. Honestly, they do everything but hold my water. These are an absolute essential for any runner or trail runner. I simply can’t imagine running without them now. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

They're bad, very heavy, they don't last at all, and the warranty service is the worst. The AI is outdated too. Don't buy these glasses.

Oakley Kato Disappointment
I purchased the Oakley Kato (model OO9455) in February 2024 and am extremely disappointed with how Oakley has handled a known manufacturing defect. The Kato has a well-documented design flaw: the adhesive bonding the frameless shield lens to the temple arms breaks down under heat, causing delamination or the arm to detach entirely. This is exactly what happened to mine. When I contacted customer service, I was told the warranty had "expired" since it only covers two years — despite this being a widely reported issue with the product itself, not normal wear and tear. A defect this consistent and well-known should be addressed regardless of warranty timing. Instead of a repair or replacement at no cost, the "resolution" offered was a paid fix priced, which was higher than what I paid for the sunglasses originally. That isn't customer support, it's asking customers to pay a premium to fix Oakley's own design problem. I expected better from a brand at this price point. I can't recommend this product until Oakley acknowledges and properly addresses this flaw.
