I had my bariatric surgery in March…
I had my bariatric surgery in March this year at TBH Clinic in Istanbul. During our stay in Turkey, I received outstanding care and service, and everything was handled professionally until we flew back to Bulgaria. Unfortunately, since returning home, I have felt completely unsupported. I have not had access to a dietitian to help answer my questions or guide me through the recovery process. My messages have largely been ignored, and I seem to be the only patient who was not added to any WhatsApp support group. As a result, I have had to rely on a friend who underwent gastric sleeve surgery a few years ago and shared her own diet plans with me. This has been very disappointing, especially after such a major life-changing surgery. In addition, we also experienced issues with the payment process and I believe I was overcharged, which added further stress to the situation. Dr. Necdet himself is excellent and I would happily recommend him to my friends, however I feel that his support team has been extremely disappointing and unhelpful after the surgery.

I used Novomed for my Bariatric Surgery in Istanbul. The service i received from the moment I contacted them in the UK was superb and everything went to plan the hospital in Istanbul BHT Clinic was amazing best hospital I have ever been to great service.

I would recommend Novemed they were…
I would recommend Novemed they were absolutely brilliant. I had lots of question and they were very happy to answer and reassure me. My dietician Sema was amazing and so helpful. She helped to keep me calm and explain everything along the way. The only thing I would change is when you wake up in recovery you should be able to have pain medicine and anti sickness medicine if you need it straight away and not have to wait until your in your room that the only reason why u gave it a 4 and not a 5 as I was very sick for an hour and I feel if I had those meds straight away I would of been a lot more comfortable. That’s the only slight negative. If they changed that it would be prefect as everything was done perfectly down to the transfers and just amazing care by the nurses and doctors.

Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent service from start to finish. Everything was handled professionally, efficiently, I felt genuinely looked after, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Communication was clear and friendly, Sema Karasu is amazing and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Thank you!

Would recommend Novemed to anyone had…
Would recommend Novemed to anyone had my surgery in novemeber was really nervous but dietician Sema made me feel so much better and made sure everything ran smoothly. the nurses where brilliant constantly checking on me and giving more pain relief and came as soon as I needed them and my surgeon who also checked on me both days.
