Why is K-ring advertised in blog?
Just minutes ago I was reading this website (smartringnews.com) and went to buy the K Ring as the website shows a comparison graph with K Ring as the only one compatible for UK. I think the site should remove this misleading information for the sake of the consumer. Luckily the K Ring website is closed otherwise I would have been gullible enough to purchase one too! We must remember to always check on Trust Pilot first. Not allowed to add links on here but the blog that tempted me into buying is from smartringnews.com top-5 contactless payment rings features specs pricing comparison

Brought 3 rings for the kids Christmas…
Brought 3 rings for the kids Christmas presents last October 17th 2022 received order confirmation straight away but never received the items I emailed them so many times but no reply....then I looked up the company and found out they hadn't been in business since the July 2022 . So I don't know how they were able to take my money in the first place the bank wouldn't help me get my money back ....so the kids didn't end up with their main Christmas present as I was silly and didn't think anything of the items not arriving before Christmas and put it down to posting issues.....inwish I knew what to do in this situation but I wouldn't know where to start as this has never happened to me before ...I think I'm the most gullible person on this planet .I even told a few friends about this item after using my brother in laws at the bar one night I thought kids would love havign theses rings themselves....a few friends also ordered rings for their kids after I told them how good they were ...unhappy friends when they didn't receive their items ....

Not good customer service or care whatsoever
So after supporting this company as a customer and continued follower, no further updates have been provided with them in regards to the status of the Company going forward and also to us customers who were cut short of the usage of the payment ring.

How many people were scammed out of their money
This company kept customer's money, gaslit them when they raised concerns about funds not arriving in accounts and orders not getting fulfilled, and eventually were cut off by their payment provider, but not before they took their annual membership charge! It cost me an admin fee to get what was left of my money back, after many months of getting lied to by support. I'm happy to see their domain is not working as hopefully that shows the company is dead and no others can be suckered like us really adopters. After giving up on ever receiving my replacement kring, I went with a competitor (mclear) who have been the total opposite of kring - honest, helpful and their ring actually works!

AVOID AND LEARN A LESSON
Having used the KRing for a couple of years, they decided to keep my last £245 top up just before they shut down, without telling anyone. The Financial Ombudsman Service is no help getting the money back (over a year) as a loophole means that Moorwand Ltd, who are the financial entity who allowed KRing to operate, refuse to accept responsibility as KRing customers were filling the KRing accounts directly (as instructed), and not using the approved method. AVOID AT ANY COST AVOID ANYTHING TO DO WITH MOORWAND.
