Costly but worth it. Definitely.
After buying the most expensive pair of wellington boots (Calder shorts) I’ve ever owned, I was a bit concerned. When they arrived, they felt very snug. And that was without socks. However after their first visit to my allotment yesterday, I’m impressed. Very impressed. I put them on (with chunky socks) and promptly forgot about them. It was only when finished shovelling the weeds into rubbish bags and hung up my fork did I remember. I guess you couldn’t ask more from a welly. It turns out they are super comfy, promise to be super warm and, after four hours of Scottish mud, did not leave my feet sweaty. I’ve more digging to do, but I’m already confident my money has been well spent.

Terrible customer service
I have full length Muck Boot wellingtons which I’m completely satisfied with. However, I purchased a pair of the pull on ankle boots direct from Muck Boot - not a random retailer which although they are very comfortable, the rubber started to split across the toe after only 6 months. This is not every day wear it is dog walking in wet weather wear. The fault is not small it is very obvious. I contacted customer service on several occasions as I believed it was a reputable company but I have had no joy whatsoever. At first they asked for lots of different photos, which I provided but they said they couldn’t open the photos. On one occasion the customer service people said that they were now out of the 12 month warranty even though the original purchase was made 9 months previous and the complaint began 6 months ago. I have made lots of attempts to make contact but there is no option to actually speak to someone and explain the complaint and the customer services seem unable to cross reference the complaint with the various attempts I have made to provide the information they asked for. I have given up on them. I’m awarding one star for the wellingtons that I have and one for the comfort of the ankle boot. The customer service I would award zero.

Made in china just rubbish
This is my second pair the first ones lasted 5 years, this ones leaked at 6 months could not understand, but I found out they were made in china, I will never buy them again, for the price I would expect better and not Chinas rubbish Allan

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service the zip became defective on my dog walking boot. I sent an e mail enquiry at 6 pm Monday for advice on a repair, by Tuesday a full refund was in my bank. Ive never had a response as quick as that I'd trust this company implicitly good to know that they value customer satisfaction above all else.
