Excellent experience relocating my dog internationally
Moving Animals did an outstanding job relocating my dog Roxy (a 10-year-old pitbull mix) from Lucerne, Switzerland to Honolulu, Hawaii. This was actually the second time I worked with Moving Animals. Five years ago they helped relocate Roxy from California to Switzerland, and that experience went so smoothly that I contacted them again when it was time to bring her to Hawaii. Having trusted them with two international moves now, I can confidently say they are extremely experienced and professional. The Hawaii import process is quite complex, with strict documentation requirements, blood tests, and coordination across several flights. Karin guided me through the entire process step by step and was always patient with my many questions. Her knowledge of the requirements and attention to detail made what could have been a very stressful process feel manageable. Sebastien and Marcel were fantastic when handling Roxy locally in Switzerland. They were calm, professional, and clearly care about the animals they transport, which made the handoff much easier. Roxy’s journey involved several legs (Zurich → Frankfurt → Los Angeles → Honolulu), and everything was coordinated smoothly. Moving Animals partnered with Island Pet Movers in the United States, who did an excellent job receiving Roxy in Los Angeles and managing the final leg of the trip to Hawaii. One tip for anyone planning an international pet relocation: start early and work with an experienced company that understands the destination requirements. Moving Animals handled all the logistics and coordination between countries, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Relocating a pet internationally can feel overwhelming, but the entire team made the process smooth and ensured that Roxy was well cared for every step of the way. I would absolutely recommend Moving Animals to anyone planning an international pet move.
