Good layout, but the broken reply notifications are a massive headache
We switched over hoping to get away from the mess of Facebook groups, but the latest updates totally wrecked the reply system. Whenever someone gets pinged about a reply under a post, the link just leads nowhere, which completely buries active threads and makes following discussions impossible for my mods. Getting a real human from support takes days when things go wrong, and dealing with automated bot responses during live events is just exhausting. The space looks nice, but basic thread glitches like this make it really hard to keep members engaged.

Mighty Networks makes many promises
Mighty Networks makes many promises, but it does not support the fulfillment of those promises. We were sold with discount motivation and pressure, an annual subscription to have a branded app of our own, and then we're given six hours of support to implement it, which was probably a tenth of what we actually needed. The interface for the user is so complex that it's like opening File Manager on a Windows computer in 1980. There are just lines and lines of information, and navigation is very difficult, even for our students who are used to going to find content from our courses. We were offered further support, but on calculations it worked out to over $1,250 per hour, and so we have now canceled all our membership project plans. These, of course, cost much more than the actual subscription at $16,000 for the first year with incentives, then over $20,000+ for subsequent years, but I would caution anybody from using this app and researching the competition, which is less expensive. In some cases, it allows you to have a branded app at no cost, like Simplero. The one compliment I would make about this app is that the inspirational talks that the founder gives and the research that they've compiled as a result of metrics of their clients are really very useful. If this is something that you want to explore, I would recommend paying for one month's membership and watching all the videos you can, and then using them for your benefit should you choose to go further with them or indeed go to a different platform. It saddens me to have to say this, as I know the impact that a Trust Pilot review can have. I have to say that I wish I checked that they had only three and a half stars as a rating before I had made a financial commitment to them. It would have saved me about $100,000 in wasted time and effort .

This company repeatedly billed me for a service I did not want. Over many months, I sent emails asking the billing be stopped. I got back responses asking for details I had already given. Then, I would get an email asking for a copy of the receipt of payment, which I sent. This cycle kept happening many times. I kept getting biiled. So, I then cancelled my credit card and got a new one with a different number. They continued to bill me. We continued the cycle of me asking for the billing to stop and them asking for details and the copies of receipts. I asked for a refund and they said they don't go refunds. There is no way that I have discovered to talk to a real person. Everything is email and likely AI. I am so frustrated and have been charged over $3,000. They would no star if that was possible. UPDATED BASED ON MIGHTY'S RESPONSE BELOW You will see below that Mighty said they would reach out to me to help resolve the problem. They did reach out. I sent them documentation of all payments made, including the unauthorized payments. I sent a PDF showing all the times I had tried to get them to stop billing me over many months. I once again requested a refund. Three days later, here's the response I got: Val here, checking in! You've received our most recent message about your network's status. Do you need any additional help? If you're all set, or if you have any follow-up questions regarding this thread, feel free to reply and we'll be happy to jump back in to keep this moving. We look forward to hearing from you! Team Mighty YES. I need further help. I need to know you will refund me for fraudulent billing and when I will get the refund. I need to be assured I will NEVER be billed again.

Mighty Networks was not only difficult…
Mighty Networks was not only difficult to use, they hook you in through the little writing in the terms of service so that you are billed for services after you stop using them.

Good product, but causes trust issues for UK users
I was using Mighty Networks to set everything up properly before going back onto a paid plan. I had courses, downloadable assets, spaces, and the overall structure setup before launching it publicly. I did initially pay for 1 month. but at no point did they tell me if you cancel, you loose access to everything. I want to make that clear. Instead, once the network was on an unpaid/free plan, Mighty Networks blocked UK access under its Online Safety Act policy. Their own help page says “Free Plan Networks: UK access is blocked” and that restoring access requires upgrading to a paid plan. That means I was locked out as the host from the network I created, including my own setup and uploaded content, before I had even gone live. I was not given a simple admin-only export route before being cut off. This feels deceptive: the platform lets you build during the trial/setup phase, but if you are in the UK and do not immediately keep paying, you may lose practical access to the thing you built. I wanted time to prepare the courses and assets properly before paying again and launching. Instead, I am now being pushed to pay just to access my own work. I would not recommend Mighty Networks to UK users unless you are comfortable paying continuously simply to keep access to your own network and data.
